Please fix the Ser Barris glitch where you can't promote him unless you are judging someone first. I was very annoyed that I couldn't do that in my last playthrough because I had already judged everyone I could by the time that option came up.

There has been 3 patches already (+1 hot fix patch) but none have tackled any major issues for PS3 and XBOX360. I'm starting to think that BW's plan is not even patch these versions of the game at all although they suffer from poorest portings. Instead all patches this far have introduced dozen fixes for PC players so really it seems clear who they are favoring and who they plan to ignore completely. I'm just so fed up with Bioware, only writing deparment at the moment has my respect anymore.

They're hamstrung by Sony and MS' s certification processes. Unless they can bypass those there's not much more they can do. They can't just release patches for those systems whenever they want to get mass feedback.

The good news is, with PC beta testers, they can quickly prove that the patches/new content works properly, thus making it easier to port it to consoles and, get clearance from MS and Sony, so it should help get things to consoles faster too. It has to be working properly before it gets MS/Sony certification and, working on PC means that they have proof that it works in the game, MS/Sony can't argue that it needs more testing before going out - it works as intended, that is a given fact once it's out of PC beta, so porting means a quick test and, certification and, you have it.

You know what, I've been sick for a week, missed a week of school and work, and I may have to go to urgent care because the sore throat is getting worse. Just a bleh week.

And then.....MIRROR OF TRANSFORMATION. RE-COLORING. STORAGE. BETA PROGRAM. AUTO ATTACK AUTO ATTACK AUTO ATTACK.

This blog post was like a love letter to us all. And I be like:

I'm surprised - not because they're working on a patch, they said they were (and that is all they had to say) - but this has exceeded my expectations. While I can't be a part of it, a beta program is an amazing idea and a GREAT way to interface with fans. THANK YOU BIOWARE.

I still haven't been able to get these missions to appear so please fix that bug too. (XB1)

Not gonna happen. My words, not theirs, but that's a huge undertaking.

This.
Potentially everyone gets a win from this initiative. Guess we'll find out the final patch is delivered

Not saying it's impossible, but that probably won't happen. That's a little too much overhaul.

It's been a relatively popular complaint though, so I'm fairly certain they have taken the matter under advisement for the next game.

It has been 3 months almost. Seriously they aren't even trying, they don't want or they can't fix them.

Me? I have been angry with Bioware last 3 months. I doubt I'll stop anytime soon ;) Not how they treat their customers and fans.

Even when this was in DA2, I always wanted to say "the Black Empornium." But I guess this isn't The Witcher.

Edited the post since you're really playing the ad hominem hard. How cute :)

It was way too easy really. Your continued non-responses are funny to read.

This is fun, but maybe one of you guys should get back to some actual substance?

Every single one?
ok...

Will this patch add 3 stat points per level?
Will this patch remove jumping and any item needing jumping to be accessible?
Will this patch allow all classes to use any weapon they want provide they have the right stats?
Will this patch add any of the good things we had in Origins, NWN, BG and we do not have anymore?
So no, they are only pleasing people so that they stop complaining.
Game will still be grinding MMORPG respawning ****.
Only brainless people who like this dumbed game will like it because, well, they already like ****, adding more **** will probably be great for them.

Pleasing us by addressing our concerns and taking our feedback into account, yes. We've established that.

I would encourage you to keep playing BG over and over again forever until you die of old age or bitterness, whichever comes first. It's not going anywhere, and maybe you'll even enjoy yourself, assuming you're capable of enjoying anything. Your posts are ridiculous.

I've been lucky, outside of what patches had broken and the hot fixes have fixed, I've had no other issues with the game outside of some crashes, and graphic driver updates fixed that. I do feel for those who still have issues, just getting a little tired of those bashing on the players who do enjoy the game, even though I think it could have done many things better.

It'll probably be a selling point much like the return of the tactical cam was for DAI. "Look we bought DAO style tactics back! Look how tactical DA4 is!"

But I do applaud Bioware for adding auto attack, and giving us a storage chest and the Black Emporium for free. Not many companies would do that nowadays.

It might be the latter.

DAI is intensely resource-dependent. Yes, there are many flavors of PS3/XB360, but if they're going to build it for PS3/XBox technology, they're going to have to build it for the lowest common denominator, which is 9 year old technology. They may have already done all they can to improve performance and appearance on that platform.

Maybe it would have been kinder to limit DAI to current gen consoles and top-spec PCs, but if they did that, PS3/XB360 players would have been completely out in the cold.  Would you have preferred that?

OMG. I LITERALLY squealed. XENON IS BACK!!!! :'D He was one of my favorite characters in DA2! I hope we learn more about him! Will he comment on the fade tears?! He could have a way to fix himself now with all the wonky magic around!

(Yes, ever since DAI came out I wondered how Xenon would feel about it. ;_; Don't judge me. XD)
