Great, that at least makes it clear that it's all about you and your personal desires. Not about proper business decisions, which an NDA is in this case.

Nothing has changed in the last 30m. I'm still not EA shareholder. Some things can be easily revealed.

We'd be in big trouble if it did.

So very much nice of them to allow playerbase to test it for them. The thing is that they can reveal fixes without revealing their new shiny content.

Sorry, everything in the Patch is covered under the NDA. You can read the Bioware Blog to see what the Devs have said about the upcoming patch/update. http://blog.bioware.com/

It is a matter of perception.

As customer I support the customer benefits. Broken-glued elvhen models passed their quality check during production. It is a botched job, something that should put a shame on the people responsible for it. In fact, shame on them! It has been 4 months since game launch and one of the main races is an abomination still. Now I don't know if they are even going to fix them because NDA reaches the very fixes. Ridiculous and unnecessary.

Unfortunately. It would take them less than hour to bring NDA off fixes, but it takes a bit of good will.

I did not even sign up for it. I have not even played this game past few initial cinematics. I will not play this game until they fix elvhes. I'm not annoyed, I question BioWare's good will, no, in fact I don't. It is a level of rot that I try to evaluate. I want to know if the elvhes are fixed and this ridiculous piece of NDA is preventing me from knowing. That is all.

That's what I wanted to point out as well. You get an impression of what the patch is about when you read the blog entry.

Patch 5 will be the biggest patch we’ve released to date, and it addresses a number of key concerns for our community.

Not enough informations. Blurry

An NDA really makes sense. Imagine people freely talking about bugs in the beta version in public - that could damage the game's reputation needlessly if the bugs are gone in the final version

Yeah, because none of us have never noticed the bugs in the actual game that this patch is trying to address...

You haven't made any actual argument for why they should be revealed.

I can give you an argument. Currently I am not playing DA:I because I am waiting for the patch. If the patch addresses sufficient issues it may make the game more fun and worth replaying. If it doesn't I will go play something else. I would rather know now what it is going to contain so that I can better plan my time. In my view, this is the last chance - it they still can't get it right, I am gone, but currently I am just hanging around to see what will be in this patch.

I don't think it is unreasonable to want to know what the Bioware are doing in order to fix a product that we have already paid them for.

My answer to this is: exactly what Vanth has said.

Bioware CAN'T not even in their most wet dreams deliver what they promise. We all know, we know, they know, that most of what they plan won't work, so if they revealed it all we would have a lot of reason to complain about the patch when they release it. So they work in secret so that they can safely cut anything that is not working well and release as if the patch had all they planned to put in it.

At least they know their ambitions are way above their skills. They know they suck so they are right in not letting us know everything they are testing. Bioware games are unable to reach even mediocre status of gaming, let them safely try to release a patch as they stumble and trip in secret. Programming is never simple and rarely goes as planned but they are gifted in they ways of incompetence.

This is true, but not as dramatic as you think.

It's not unreasonable to want to know. It's unreasonable to demand to know now.
