And this is the time I go back into my bunker.

I wish. Bioware Paladins never rest, unfortunately.

I respect your opinion, Raoni Luna, you are tough and honest. But there is no reason to be mean or personal unsure.png

Maybe you did not mean it that personal or offensive ? But remember my words, Raoni ... one day ...

One day Teddie Sage is throwing a hell of a "safety party" ... in this cool bunker of his!

And then you will have to apologize to him biggrin.png

Take my word for it!

Really nice people make the best parties wizard.png

P.s.: I will bring my bazooka ... and test the "troll-protection" - PARTY! ... heart.png

BioWare Paladins uh? At least we're not throwing insults to people like you who spend their days being annoying and pestering others who try to stay positive. Know what? I'm glad you aren't their fan anymore. You don't deserve their attention and clearly, they don't need the naggy sort of people like you trying to change them. Want to cherry pick everything? Go ahead, be my guest and make your own game from scratch. Nobody here needs you at all.

It does not matter what it covers....

Actually, it does. That is the entire point of it.

What doesn't matter is what you think about it. Not to say you're not entitled to your opinion, you're just not entitled to any more than that.

And seriously, Big Brother? I sometimes wonder how many people who play this card have actually read the source material that term comes from.

No, it does not matter. Even if there would be a whole new expansion to test, I should get to know the patch notes about the currently present bugs.

Yes, big brother, seriously.

And why is that, exactly?

Never mind...

Those bunker door enhancements gonna take long, Teddie? Remember, I should get to know what you're planning, 'cause... well, just 'cause.

Vanth has explained it already.

This forum. Do I participate in some kind of play. All these ostentatious dramatic bursts.

You'll get them when the patch is released. Just like with every other patch.

I know you WANT them now, Veruca, but as Mick said, you can't always get what you want.

You do realise that Big Brother is the face of an organisation that expects and demands access to any information it desires regardless of morals, need or common sense? It's not a particularly clever thing to bring up when whining about being denied access to information.

As I say, I do wonder how many people actually realise what it means when it they throw it out there.

This is what I disagree with. I want to know them sooner.

Another miss. I did not mention 'big brother' in reference to denied information per se, but(...). I encourage you to re-read my posts where 'big brother' lays.

It must be viral, because I have started to wonder about it too.

Oh, that's right. It's because you need to be able to better plan your time.

Of course this means BioWare will release the information immediately, since it's a Time Management Emergency.

FWIW it wouldn't matter why you brought it up, if your argument is based entirely on the fact that you're demanding to know information that you don't realistically have any right to know, bringing up the symbol of that ideology taken to its extremes is a silly.

But as you ask, you did, in response to someone explaining a potential reason for the NDA.

Just read the Bioware blog - that tells yo everything they are going to reveal about the upcoming patch at this time. Any more specifics or, details are covered by the NDA so, no one should be telling anyone anything beyond the blog.

As for planning, what difference dose it make if you know now or when the patch is released what it contains? It won't alter the game you have until it is released so, knowing what it includes before then makes no difference. You'll read the patch notes and decide if you are going to try it out or not, and you don't have the option to try it before releases (Unless you are one of the beta testers) so, what good is knowing any more about it than Bioware has already posted in the blog?

No.

Yes, partially, the other part lays with the wording of posters whom I have replied.

Don't you know that BioWare cares about their fanbase, customers and this and that? If they would release patch notes without fix for the elvhes included then I would protest and BioWare would listen. Because they care!

This is what I disagree with. I want to know them sooner.

Then build a time machine, because it's impossible for anyone to know exactly what will be in the patch until it's finalized, even Bioware.

They can say what they HOPE will be in the patch (and did provide a non-comprehensive list of stuff they're working on when they announced it), but it's not likely that they will, because they don't want to make promises they might not be able to keep.

The following video illustrates the concept I'm trying to get across further: https://www.youtube....h?v=b_ubVVnWglk

We, the consumers have zero rights to that business information.

Bioware is a business, a business with competitors, they have every right to ask for a NDA for every single development plan they want to keep out of public discussion.  It doesn't matter if the way  a character's arms look is "broken", it does not matter if the lack of knowledge is causing a permanent twitch to your left eye.  Neither you nor anyone else has any entitlement to any information they are not ready to make public.

Would it be absolutely lovely to see every single thing in the plans for the next year or so, well yeah, but I understand why it is not being shared.

Release of information about fixes for bugs that occur currently is such a big deal?

No. It has nothing to do with delayed gratification. I don't even know if they are going to fix it.

I'm quite entitled to know about the fix for the bug in game that I have bought.

No, you don't understand. You see, Lord Surinen and Vanth must be able to more effectively plan their time. BioWare is therefore obligated to accommodate. It's perfectly obvious if you live in Entitlement Land.

Wow, this is getting nasty.  I'd love to know what fixes are planned for the patch (like the god damned arms for the battlemage armor) but I'm not going to demand it.  Seriously ya'll, the devs aren't sitting in their Lair of Mwhahahah thinking of new ways to ****** you off. Patch notes generally come out with the patch, the end. How arrogant to say that your time is so valuable that Bioware should change how it does things.  Just chill out people, this level of presumptuous whining about patch notes for a video game is ridiculous.
