Considering that I play the overwhelming majority of my games on consoles... Yes. Yes I do. Very much so. I also don't have DAI on the PC, I have it on the Xbox One. Why you even mentioned this is beyond me, I never said nor indicated that I played on the PC.

The rest of your angry tangent I won't even bother responding to because it has nothing at all to do with anything I've said.

Acknowledged.

But still. I reacted to this statement of yours ...

Oh, I know, but it's juvenile to complain that your 10-year old 360 is having trouble running a game developed on software developed (at the earliest) in 2012.

Like I said, it's complaining about barely being able to use Windows 8 on a computer from 2005. The software just doesn't match the hardware. Compromises can be made to make it work, but it just won't be as smooth and bug-free as the hardware that the game was built for.

Does your copy of the game not run at all or why are you saying this?

The comparison between consoles and computers in terms of being able to run very different things under very different preconditions ...

... leads me to believe that you compare this because you do not understand the facts here.

But I will not argue with you if you don't understand my reason to point out these things I tried to go on about in my posting, o Vento.

And I don't think you want me to, either ...

So: "Win-win-situation" -_-

Nobody said that the old-gen versions of the game will never be functional, nor has anyone ever even implied as much. I'm not going to bother explaining what it means to develop new software on outdated hardware again, you'll just continue to ignore it.

Not a very smart customer ("not very smart" in more than just consumer sense, going by this syntax), evidently.

They can be as familiar with the hardware as they want, that doesn't change the fact that DAI was built with new-gen consoles in mind, not for old-gen. That the old-gen versions are playable at all is a testament to how they could scale everything down.

You've never actually held a debate or discussion with anyone in your entire life, have you?

I wasn't aware that the Persona series was a living person.

Please, go fellate them somewhere else then.

Which is the very same case for the whole PC market. No high-tier graphics card is used to its full potetial because of all the mid-tier graphics cards that are used by almost any other PC gamer out there - PERIOD!

If true, this means that anyone who buys a high-end card is fairly stupid, doesn't it?

I wouldn't know, since I never bother to look at anything past the midrange.

I guess you haven't been paying attention to the conversation.

The comparison between consoles and computers in terms of being able to run very different things under very different preconditions ...... leads me to believe that you compare this because you do not understand the facts here. (I would never have guessed that you own some consoles yourself.)

Someone is b**ching and moaning that their 10 year old Xbox is struggling to run a game designed for current software and hardware. Why this was somehow unclear, I don't understand.

But I will not argue with you if you don't understand my reason to point out these things I tried to go on about in my posting, o Vento.

And I don't think you want me to, either ...

I'm fairly certain you're responding to the wrong person, considering what you think I've been saying.

There IS a French-language forum. Maybe try there.

Yeah, and I made the effort to use your language to talk to you. If you are new here, you probably don't know that the Bioware team doesn't use french as native language. So, how can I make post that had a small chance to be read? Bingo...

You DO know there is tech support in more languages than just English?

Tech support : Uninstall, clean the cache, install. Rince and repeat ad noseam.

I had lot of "you are not at the good place to talk about xbox360 issues" and got links to : Uninstall, clean the cache, install.

Still searching the person that work on old-gen issues. He is very well hidden!

I'm a xbox360 player : the beta-test is only for the PC players. It is out of my range. Here, at this thread, I clearly see that the next-gen and the PC players don't care at all about all the specifics issues of the PS360 players with DAI.

I work for free to help disabled people on my free time. I bring books and dvd to isolated people too. My problem here is that I paid 60 bucks for a broken game and people who get their game patched ****** at me because all the patches that fixed their games makes only my game running worse! And they don't care at all, saying crap like "You KNOW the game will not work!", like I'm a psychic reading in devs mind.

I want that the future patches FIX some broken parts of the old-gen versions. But they made the beta-test on PC and, like always, will throw it on PS360 without taking into account all the bugs occuring only on this support.

they care, but they cant do all the things in 15 minutes...

some sort of things demands more time, and maybe that problem, cant be solve in the moment.

All of us waited for this game some years, we can wait or help to improve it.

Patience =)

All we can really do is wait and see. It is just the only thing that is logical now, because this will take some time. If we worry too much we will just wind us up in these worries ... Bioware is working and maybe even sends some infos our way. Or, even better, will release these patches very soon :)

We can discuss all of it. But in the end we will have to wait for patch 5 & 6 until they release.

Wait, so patch 6 is now open for beta testing, and does that mean if you sign up for patch 6 you also get to test patch 5? I mean if bioware only allows you to test patch 6 and not patch 5, what's there to make sure that patch 6 won't break something introduced by patch 5?

As I understood it: Patch 5 is beta testing right now. And they prepare the 6th patch - which is in the works - for beta testing. After the 5th patch is out of it - they will open the beta for the 6th patch.

People, I'm French-Canadian as well but I do use the English boards as there are more chances for someone from BioWare to pop around. Telling Keitaro to use the French sections is just pointless as there are no French speaking BioWare staff members that go there these days. People from all over the world who are using these boards prefer referring to the English boards for this very reason.

On a more chill note, I wonder how long the beta testing will last?  Cause I seriously gave my character some messed up LSD eyes. (...I blame the amaretto for that) and I am not going through the whole the-sky-is-̶f̶a̶l̶l̶i̶n̶g̶ exploding-thing again.

Those forums seem so deserted compared to ours. I mean, we post more stuff here, I'm surprised EA employees don't take a keep in this direction once in a while.

There's 371 pages just on the general help section and at least the first 5 of them have posts in them from at least 3 days ago. I wouldn't call that deserted, considering it's a tech support forum.

They feel "less active" in comparison with what we got here on BSN, that's what I meant -- I'm referring to BSN as a whole. So yeah, deserted doesn't apply.

They haven't said anything yet. Just that they're looking forward for people to apply for patch 6's beta. They will probably announce details soon. I think they're satisfied with the data they've been collecting from the patch 5 testers.

Thanks Teddie  :)
