They're probably selecting a few famous fans who have been around for a while, like Lady Ashe, GamerMD83, etc.

This would be a terrible idea because they would look at it all through rose tinted glasses and have nothing but praise for it.

Anywho, I'm looking REALLY closely at that "new schematics" part they mentioned.  I really REALLY hope they add a bunch of new outfits with this Emporium.  This will either make or break my future playthroughs of this game.  That, and if they fix the Qunari archer animation bugs or not.   Here's hoping they deliver.

LadyAshe is actually pretty good to find the game's qualities as their faults. I think she has a good way to analyze everything, which would be handy for the game developers. I swear, she should work for them as she always spots a bunch of things that some people don't.

if they do that, they need to add a way for us to get materials like dragon webbing which is really limited in game

And broken-glued male elf arms too, they need fix. I'm in favour of new armours. This game is most certainly lacking variety in this department. They should take armours from multiplayers and npc and give it to players. Too many unique and good looking is for NPC. All tevinter themed gear and other things should find their place too.

so they rpomote the black emprium with the use of gamepad. louder than 'check your privilege'

Wow! Bioware is fast becoming my favourite game developer ever! Listening to fan feedback (even though it can be rude sometimes) on top of adding story DLC. So excited. I would only request that we get a few more hairstyles in the Black Emporium. Anyway, I love this game already (art, music, story, characters - all top notch and beautiful). This just makes it perfection. :) I think it's only fair PC players get to test first since the controls for PC were so monumentally wonky. I know there was a lot of issues on the 360 too but really they shouldn't have released it on 360 and people should upgrade to next gen (or, preferably, PC heh) if they can, otherwise games will just be held back from their potential. Just my two cents. :)

Hopefully with these new schematics they add some mage robes, Tevinter-style ones and Circle robes!

(Sigh)

This should be in the News section, the PC Issues thread should be updated and the Lore subsection banner should be taken down and replaced with this.

This shouldn't be hidden in the Bioware Blog, which hardly anyone on these forums is even aware of, let alone monitors.

Good news, but relying on fans to do all of the heavy lifting in communicating is precisely what I've been talking about in terms of lack of Leadership.

From BioWare's blog. New info.

.
Finally!

Then I don't have to start a new game countless times to create the appearance I like.

Yikes. So it came from a fan notifying a fan to being post on these boards.

Anyone feeling like the forums are anywhere near the pulse of what Bioware is doing or communicating to fans? Anyone? Buehler? Buehler?

Since they know fans are going to post about it here within minutes, what's the problem?

So long as they're doing the heavy lifting to improve the game, I'm happy.

I'm glad the Black Emporium is back, sort of (how did it move from Kirkwall exactly), but I'm less fond of the fact that this still adds nothing to the bedroom. The Mirror of Transformation would've been a perfect addition.

It's being handed down from the mountain to the unwashed masses, who should be blessed with its joyous tidings from on high.

That's the problem. It's easy to think of the forums as a disgusting, nasty place if you never have to actually go in and touch the germy freaks.

Whelp, that's it folks.

They already expressed their opinions over us, why would they give us the info first? They're terrified of posting here.

I hope that this patch will fix the *Under her Skin* quest given by Leliana, when siding with the Templars, because of right now the quest cannot be completed, and therefore the main-quest line is broken too.
Going into the merchant's house in Val Royeaux will end in a game crash everytime, just as the loading finishes and the cut-scene is about to kick in.
Had to go back to an earlier saved game and choose to aid the mages instead.

Or how about fixing things in the game that are actually important, like broken quests for instance. Who cares about the duping cheat exploit, when the game cannot even be finished when siding with the Templars, such as the *Under her Skin* quest that is rendered broken due to patch 4 and is tied in into the main storyline (has to do with Calpernia.)

Alright little people, stop bickering about which thing is more important to fix. To the corner you go, you're not allowed to come with us until you excuse yourself to your little friends and move on like good people. This thread is to rejoice the news of a new patch and the Black Emporium... so sorry to interrupt your sourness. Smile a little, they're trying.

Well I feel duped, and they really got under my skin by doing it. Maybe it's what my pride had wrought but it does seem now that the wicked eyes and wicked hearts of Bioware have, in hushed whispers, added the final piece to end all. Well, being as I am one of the champions of the just I would just like to warn you that the threat remains.

Yaaas.

Storage, face melter, text re-sizing, item tinter.

You go, Bioware.

These things, so much. Well, I was fine with the text size. But I reeeeaaaally want those other things. Here's hoping we can get them to add move-to-click for environment interaction in over-the-shoulder view. I'm so done with having to stand right next to things to open them.

I got no issue if people want the duping exploit back, after all, if people want to play their game that way it is in their right, since it's their gameplay. So for your sake, hopefully they do that.
Personally I don't care for the dupe glitch, I have already seen how duping ruined Diablo 3 for me, because I was indulging in duping in D3 and the game became boring very fast. So I stand away from those things now.
I just would like to be able to actually complete a quest when I have it and not be stuck with it because of a bug caused by a previous patch lol.
Although I was told that the game can still be finished without completing *Under her Skin* but at the cost of missing out on lore and information.
Here is to hoping that patch 5 will fix all our issues in the game.
