Hopefully it fixes the game for everybody and we can buy dragon materials.
.
No. We need Tier 5 crafting materials and schematics!

The type of wildlife we'd have to kill for those is unpleasant to consider.

Ok. Just kidding.
But maybe (and just maybe) 'The Black Emporium' will have new hairstyles?
I have a real hard time when I visit The Winter Palace looking like a stableboy.
How can I impress Celene looking like this? It's depressing!

A small firefly that spawn only in the stone of a cliff and need a lot of hicking to take the loot that appears on top of a mountain. With one spawn per week, only if in the week it happens an hurricane, a tornado, an earthquacke and a major election. Oh, and the moon must be full!
For now, I try to survive because most of my attack skill made me levite at 10 meter of the ground and I take lot of damage at almost all my attacks. I rely heavily on my team because I can ONLY use the normal weak attack. And they talk to BEGIN THE BETA??????!!!!!!
I hope the Black Emporium is a free add-on... One can hope.
One can hope, but I doubt it.

Wouldn't you pay cool cash to be able to change appearence midgame? If it includes new hairstyles as well? I would.

The thing is, we shouldn't have to. If memory serves, the original (DA2) Black Emporium DLC was included in the release version (or separately for free). Besides, if Bioware intends that we pay for patches from now on then...well let's just say, no amount of words would be enough to describe the horror.
It would also be horrible if Bioware killed my parents and made me eat them in a bowl of chili. Which is about as likely as what you're discussing.
One can hope, but I doubt it.
It is apparently part of patch 5. You don't usually pay for patches, and they did say this was part of what was in the game at some point but had to be cut. So no, I really do not expect that we have to pay for this. Imagine what calling it a patch and then charging for it would do to Bioware's reputation. They aren't stupid.
WOW! That looks great! I hope all those features make it into the final version.
The only thing I miss is something about the Skyhold outfit.
No, the most important thing is missing. well, one of them anyway, the ability to hot swap been control methods.
The mouse and keyboard being disabled if you select gamepad as your control method is really, REALLY stupid.
Oh, it would also be nice if they fixed the missing mosiac pieces at some point.
There's a mod for the mosaic pieces, if you don't want to wait?

You're totally the "Dupe Glitch Guy". Keep up the good work. Never give up.
From BioWare's blog. New info.

It's now also the top post in News & Announcements, pinned there by Conal.
I think at this juncture, after careful thought and all reasonable consideration, my feelings on the matter could best be summed up as
YES!!! YesYesYes YESSSSSSS!
It looks like Patch 5 will be the big one and address many, if not most, of the major issues, as some of us have been pondering, speculating, wishing for, and scarcely daring to dream. I hope some of us more vocal folks from the boards are not autobanned from registering from the beta
.
This was a critical time for this communication to come to us, and I'm glad they made the announcement and provided some details. The DLC announcement raised the question of whether some of these features (or even the fixes!) would be part of a paid add-on. I am overjoyed and enormously relieved to see that they are not. This is what I've been hoping for since reading that blog from Scyllas Costas, the link to which I've been bandying about and whose name I sincerely hope I didn't just mangle.
This is pretty huge. And not just the announcement, which Teddie helpfully provided us info on, but that they went and pinned it in the News section. I know the directive is to focus on social media, so getting it up here on the forum so fast is definitely appreciated.
Thank you Conal, and possibly also Allan if this is the result of the ETA you went to go find out about.
yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
Hey guys, 3 months after the game is released, let's do a BETA TEST
Holy ****.
Hi! You may know me from such shows as "Constantly Poking at Corporate Policies," or "Relentlessly Raising Customer Issues."
Given that context, I'd like to ask you: give me a minute to explain why this is a Good Thing.
This patch is going to be rather large. I also suspect some major reworking of game innards had to be done. Most important, however, is what happened with Patch 3. It broke some stuff. And patch 3 was relatively small.
Given that, absolutely they should test 5 before sending it out into the wild to find its own destiny. It's the smartest choice: not just for their sanity, but for ours. This will provide the best possible experience for all customers when it finally goes live. Remember that BWEA has a rather large customer base. There are a ton of us here, but there are also megatons who aren't. They have no way of knowing what's going on; they will just get Patch 5 when it's released, and if it's a very large complicated mess that breaks many things, they will be justifiably upset and bewildered and not have any idea what's been going on here, as we do from haunting these forums.
Also keep in mind that a beta test is not a pre-release. It speaks to a willingness to change the bloody thing based on feedback, if needed. And I don't mean "gah hey my requested feature isn't in here, add it!" At the very least, they are expecting to start the beta, collect data on bugs and issues, then go back and address them. That's a very clear commitment, in an atmosphere that lately has felt like no one wants to commit to anything.
And it means, however indirectly, the Bioware team and the customer base working together to fix stuff that's important to many. Given how frustrated so many of us all here have gotten, BWEA and customer alike, this is a huge step in getting us all back on track together. Going in the same direction, that is, as opposed to head-on...
TL;DR Planning, getting management buy-in for, and running a beta, and preparing to go back and fix things the beta might expose as broken, is a gigantic win for everyone, and speaks very highly of Bioware's going to bat to get this done. And get it done right.

I could have my Silk Brocade shirt all the time!
I must admit this thing alone has me excited
