Really? I don't think there are more than a handful of unobtainable schematics, if that, but getting all the higher-tier stuff I wanted took me 80k gold and at least four hours of farming. I kept getting stuff I don't need, such as what felt like a million upgrades for two-handed swords and daggers (which I don't use - I even spec my companions out of them). I heard just yesterday that there is a Dalish warrior armor schematic - which I've never seen in five playthroughs in spite of all the farming.

and 6 t3 armors ranging from qunari only to elf onl

Save for Vitaars I don't think there are Qunari only armors....all t3 swords

Not all tier 3 sword schematics are unobtainable I've personally got at least one. Using only the loot system, no cheating, modding or anything else.
I'm personally looking forward to this, it will feel like a breath of fresh air after multiple plays.

well this patch seems to be a small step in the right direction. now lets see if they fix the other problems with the base.

I sympathize with the issues you are having with the game (I'm having annoying periodic DirectX crashes) but the more testing they do of patch 5 the better. I don't think it's wrong to ask their fans to volunteer as beta testers, it would be different if they kidnapped them and forced them to do it ...
If they had beta tested that patch, maybe someone would have reported that bug and they would have caught it before releasing the patch. That's how the process is supposed to work.

It's not gonna cost anything it's a patch!
Haven't been playing since they released patch 4 on consoles, so I'll wait until patch 5 gets released to finally enjoy the game again. At this state, Dragon Age Inquisition is tedious for me and I no longer enjoy it. Please, I hope the Black Emporium will fix my materials issues...

I think I commented in patch 5 thread in Scuttlebut, but I'll comment to this too since this is important:
Only thing that is needed from the patch is option to adjust size of subtitles. Anything else, this Black emporioum and storage are extra, things that people want but don't need. Text size in consoles is horrendously small which is even health problem when you have to squint your eyes to read it. It's also especially bad for people who are deaf or have dyslexia. That's why I really hope Bioware does that well and keeps it even though PC beta players most likely won't find it very useful since it's not their problem.

BFK can be paranoid, sure, but this is EA we're talking about. It's rare they will let people download DLCs for free.

Considering it's being advertised as a patch right now, I think we're safe. Plus, since the games release they were on and on about adding things to the game they didn't have time for previously, so I'm pretty sure the BE will be patched in (not even a DLC).
But honestly, I'm just excited for armour tinting, I am done with having orange arms. *Huff* I hate Dragon Webbing.

Sorry, maybe it is just too late, but I don't get what are you pointing out. I for one complain about the lies a lot, because we have been lied to and the game was falsely advertised, which is a fact I don't like false advertisement. That is what my post was saying.
When do you guys think patch 5 will actually be released? If we are talking another not until another month or two the I think it's rather pointless IMO especially for players who only play the single player campaign and only plan to play the main game once.
I'm putting my bet on mid-march for PC and consoles.

This quote from the blog makes me question whether it'll be free or not: As part of the beta, participants will have access to the Black Emporium.
This sort of comes across as "A gift for being a part of the beta will be to give you special access to something everyone is going to eventually have to pay for."
