The wiki claims that Kureck, the battlemaster you encounter on Pragia, has Warp as a power. But it is red in color, similar to the power that other Krogan use. He also does not show a Warp casting animation when he fires off the power the way Vanguards do. So, does Kureck have Warp or Carnage? What about the other Krogan? Are they casting Carnage (as I though) or Warp?

I'd say it's Carnage as Warp is a biotic power Biotic powers usually glow blue (like the Asari) as I'm sure you know but that's what I think anyway. Carnage is usuaslly a big red blast that either comes from the shotgun in ME1 or the omnitool in ME3 as I often use Carnage myself on my ME3 soldiers as my bonus power

He has Warp: Link
I don't remember him having Carnage, his bodyguards have it but him? Not sure.
Thanks for the link. What is shown there is clearly a Warp. But he also has Carnage, I'm sure. Maybe the wiki has a general page on Krogan somewhere that notes they all have Carnage and so they didn't include it in his description, just took it for granted. But that red thing he was shooting at me sure looked like Carnage.

I searched for other videos and didn't see him use Carnage at all. I also didn't find mention of Carnage on his wiki page
As far as I know all Battlemasters have only Warp and regular krogan have Carnage instead. There was one unique krogan boss that had shields instead of a barrier but I don't remember his name at all. He was the leader of one of those optional Blood Pack bases

Ok, I just looked over the video and he did not shoot me with a Carnage, just a Warp.

There is one other Krogan that has shields: the "Bounty Hunter" you run into on Thane's recruitment mission. The guy who shows up in the elevator with the two Engineers.

I usually just blast him with the collector particle beam before he can do anything. I think he uses warp but I can't remember. Most battlemasters use warp while their lackeys use carnage.
