All I want for the next Mass Effect's Multiplayer is a hub where people can gather and communicate. I'm an avid role player of this game's universe (It's addicting, you should try it!) and it would be an incredibly much loved fan service if Bioware could give the RP community a place to live IC (In character) and just talk through typing similar to forums.

I'm not asking for much, maybe like a ten player lobby on the Citadel or something just to give our avatars a face outside of forums. Icing on the cake would be a small and noticeable emote system like sitting down and walking. I understand this would be hard to implement on consoles but everyone who RP's is on the PC and this small thing would mean so much to the RP community who keep these games alive with our own stories and fun times.

This is a role playing game and we love this universe and these games. This very small request would mean so much to us. Hope Bioware reads this.

I'm not really into roleplaying or anything like that, but some kind of 'hub' lobby where people could gather like what you're talking about could be very cool.

I would like ME4MP to be along the same lines as ME3MP but expanded a bit. I don't think they should do a co-op campaign, that would just take and great SP experience and dumb it down to make room for a second player. I'd like to see the wave based horde mode make a comeback but I also think they should do some short linear missions as well, things like breaking into a pirate base to obtain some info on deployments, stuff like that.

Numbers 1 to 197 on the list for the next mp is to make it stable, 198,199, 200 would be about things like classes, maps, weapons.

I definitely can't argue with this.  Smooth, stable and reliable gameplay and solid servers are an absolute must.  If the gameplay is polished and satisfying but the servers and netcode are garbage, then the experience still suffers.

I'd have more than just three things on list for more advancement and innovation to gameplay, but I can't deny that I hope the lion's share of time and QA testing goes into making sure the game runs ultra-smooth and is rock-solid and stable.

Lag issues, drastic on/off-host variances, stuttering gameplay and frame rate issues are all things to which a lot of attention should be devoted.

On my list after that would be ensuring there are no broken skill-tree evolutions.

I'm all about fundamentals.  Make sure your core mechanics and functions are sound before you start piling other things on a shaky foundation.

New maps, improved net code and overall polish are all worthy goals, but for me, I would really like to see more asymmetrical gameplay in the various classes and kits. ME 3's MP did what it could with the limitation that everything had to be based off of a common, human animation skeleton but with the new title's MP I would like to see tangible divergence when it comes to the kits.

For example, I want to see melee kits that are truly melee. A Krogan Warlord brandishing a massive gravity hammer shouldn't be forced to carry a gun; if a player wants to ditch their firearms for a true display of Krogan combat prowess they should be able to. If a kit is designed around being a melee monster, it should have that as the forefront of its gameplay, not just a tweaked melee feature that everyone else has as a throwaway ability.

I would like to see kits that are not based on a humanoid skeleton. Make aliens like the Rachni and the Elcor playable, don't be afraid or unwilling to give these kits unique gameplay mechanics and/or exclusive weapons or amor either. A Rachni Brood Warrior should approach combat very differently than a Human Soldier would, and their methods of attack would be completely different as well. Don't make the Elcor Engineer run around with an Avenger, give them the tank cannons that they wear on their backs; weapons that only they can use.

A perfect example of the type of gameplay I would like to see is present in the game Evolve. In that game the monster plays completely differently than the hunters, and even the different types of monsters play differently from each other. That is the type of asymmetrical gameplay I would like to see. Now granted Evolve is PvP focused when it comes to the monsters and hunters, but applying some of those uniquely diverse playstyles to a co-op setting would be fairly straight forward especially considering that co-op isn't as balance intensive as competitive play is.

I'd like to see them expand on multiplayer as a whole. Make some co-op missions that we can progress through with our friends. Then give us the traditional wave based mp we saw in ME3. Maybe add a survival mode where the rounds keep going until you all die (with boss levels).

Make the maps less claustrophobic. Custom kits based on class.

Agreed 100%.  All these things have been on my wish list for a long time now.

It will be interesting to see what the story hook for ME4 multiplayer is. ME3 was set up perfectly, all the species band together to fight the reapers. But I'm not sure how easy this situation is to setup. How often in the history of the mass effect world have you had all the different species working together? They could make it more like a series of mercenary jobs rather than a military exercise I guess, but it needs to work against as wide a range of enemies as you want to use. It could also be faction based but that would probably mean splitting the player base in at least half.
