Remember:

It's just a game. It is a fantasy. And not to be taken serious.

If you do take it serious you might a person who has just a small life like I have?

Reading this didn't help at all.

And what's with using Disney as an example of anti-darkness? Disney is fucked up!

Yep poisonings, death curses leveled against babies, attempted genocide, murders, kidnappings, casual goading about the murdering widows and orphans, summoning of legions of undead, attempted sacrificing of the souls of a entire city..., and more yep there is nothing dark about Disney...

Now you have stated twice "it didn't help".

What kind of help do you need?

I'm always prepared to help if needed. Especially when the subject is illusions.

I actually feel dumber for having read this.

You have a pretty shitty attitude for someone relegated to posting on a forum like everyone else on the BSN. You should learn some humility Oh Great One of All Greatness.

The latter it seems. Though the OP seems to be under the impression that because he doesn't have the option to be a remorseless sociopath that Thedas is all sunshine and rainbows.

True. Although remember when the Mass Effect 3 Citadel DLC came out and people said that should have been the ending? Those were the people Bioware listened to.

No, I know humility.

Me stating that something was stupid doesn't invalidate the notion.

DAI is a bit lighter yes, but DAO was during a time of the darkspawn and the Blight, along with questionable choices made all in the name of ending the Blight, but DAI is after it's ended. 10 years later there are sufferings still, but it would naturally be a bit lighter, but if I'm honest with myself, DAI is about faith and religion. The song you dislike is part of that faith in the Maker and it kind of forces you to believe in the Maker and find hope in the darkest time in your life with a song that is sung for that reason, even if you don't believe in it. It had a few moments like that in DAO (like the ashes), but I felt DAI made you have to believe in it, and that's why I like Sera.
