Hey guys,

I'm new to the forums and hope that this is the right section for my question! :) Also, I'm no native English speaker, so please excuse my terrible English!

Since I've lately played ME 3, I was thinking about playing ME 1+2 again. Now, there a lot of DLCs for these games and if you want to them buy "alone", they cost quite alot of money. So I was wondering: Is there a bundle with all the ME games with DLC for a reasonable price? Something like DA: Origins-Ultimate, for example.

And are the DLCs worthwhile the cost?

Looking forward to your help! :)

Nope. None like that.

I'd say all the story DLC are worth the cost, though that's just me--it's a subjective quantification.

No bundle however:

For Mass Effect 1 PC - Bring Down the Sky was released as a Free download (I believe it is already added if you buy it on Origin but I can't confirm since I just moved all my files from my old PC to my new one and I installed that manually on my old one)

For Mass Effect 2 (All versions) - Included the Cerberus Network which included a few small side missions, some weapon and armour add-ons, The Hammerhead & Missions, Zaeed Companion with loyalty mission.

For Mass Effect 2 PS3 - The disc version included the above as well as Project Overlord, Kasumi Stolen Memories, and Liar of the Shadowbroker, and some extra weapons which just left the Arrival to get.  If you do go this way make sure you get a new copy as the DLC is a one time use code that gets linked to your PSN account, once used it is gone.

Regardless which system you get it on I agree with the above poster, the Story DLC is worth the cost, you can skip the weapon & armour DLC's

Are they really worth the money? As it seems, only the story dlcs for ME 2 cost around 16€.  :o  I could buy half a Steam sale for that.

For Mass Effect 1, Bring Down the Sky is free on PC as mentioned. Pinnacle Station is cool but pretty skippable, in my opinion. According to the wiki, it's included in the PC version of the Mass Effect trilogy if you happen to have that.

For Mass Effect 2:

Lair of the Shadow Broker - Arguably the best DLC of the entire trilogy along with Mass Effect 3's Citadel. Definitely worth it, and lots of good story with Liara and the Shadow Broker.

Arrival - A pretty good DLC that leads things into Mass Effect 3. It's the most connected to the main story arc of the Reapers of the ME2 DLC.

Overlord - In my opinion it's the worst of the story DLC, but it's still not bad. They tried to push the Hammerhead vehicle in this one, so you'll be using it a fair bit. When importing a save, it has some characters you'll meet again briefly in Mass Effect 3.

Stolen Memory - The story mission itself is pretty short, but it brings in a character that I obviously think is great =P

The rest are all appearance and weapon packs that can very easily be skipped without missing anything. Cerberus Network does have The Price of Revenge with Zaeed which is on par with Stolen Memory, but you should get it for free.

For me personally I felt the Story DLC in ME2 and 3 are worth it as I really enjoyed the additions they had.

For ME3:

The Omega DLC you can skip if you are not interested in Aria or the Terminus systems but Leviathan is a really fun experience and it is also the only DLC that allows you to jump in and out of it whenever you feel like continuing the story. From Ashes has the character Javik which adds a lot of Prothean lore so that is the main selling point there.  Citadel is pure fan service and a nice send off that is pretty much recommended by more or less everybody (you get more content if you have the DLC characters from ME 2 & 3 so keep that in mind)

But in the end it just depends on the amount of investment you have in the series.
