I am sorry if I put this topic under wrong section.
So I've bought DA Origin standard edition about 4 months ago when it had a price cut. And now I want to play its DLC and noticed it will be more expensive if I buy those DLC separately. Is there an upgrade options to Ultimate Edition? if not, if I buy the Ultimate Edition, will my save game in the standard edition automatically transferred into ultimate edition? I dont want to repeat the game though.

Your save files will transfer over (it uses the same location).
Just remember that DAO and DAO:UE shouldn't be installed simultaneously. There have been some serious issues in the past, and I don't think anything has changed. As Kantr said the save game files are in the same location (but back them anyway - assuming you want to keep them).
so uninstall DAO then install DAO:UE....
