With the start of a new business venture for my wife and I, the time has come for me to say goodbye to NWN and pass the Project Q torch over to other hands. The Amethyst Dragon has graciously offered to be those hands and I've given him my full blessing to do with Q as he sees fit. Within the next few days I'll be turning over the pass codes and urls for the updater and vault site to TAD and that will finalize the transition completely.
I will continue to stop in now and then to see how folks are. Its been a fun decade and then some.
You will be sorely missed my firend. I wish you and your wife the absolute best of luck in your new adventures. Be sure to visit as often as you can to see what may still be happening around in NWN 1 lands.
Take care, and may God bless you and yours.
Pstemarie thank you very much for all your work and all the help over the years. I'm definitely sad to see you go, but definitely wish you the best in your new endeavor. Like the others, I hope you will still drop by from time to time, but also that perhaps once the insanely active initial 'getting things off the ground' period passes you may... even... be back.. in some way. Who knows - I may even learn to model 3D stuff, code and juggle 2das by that (hopefully not mythically distant) time. ![]()
*takes off hat and then returns to cultivating insane amounts of optimism*
Good Luck and thanks for all you've contributed to us all.
Best of luck to you and the spouse, Pstemarie.
Best success wishes. Thanks for your dedicated work. Surely, project Q is now one of the NWN crown jewels... And rightful it seems to transmit that gem to a most creative dragon ![]()

Best of luck PSteMarie! I'm grateful for all of your contributions over the years. Speaking as a small business owner myself, I'm confident that over time you'll find yourself being drawn back to D&D if not NWN in particular. I've learned that balancing a new venture and family is not enough. That from time to time I still have to do something creative with D&D, which these days is usually NWN. I strongly suspect that in a couple of years, three at the most you'll fee the same yearning.
To borrow from Bob Seeger, "D&D never forgets!"
I've got some old buddies I game to game with that are just itching to get into the shop after hours, fire up the flat top, cook some burgers and raid the soda cooler while we play D&D, Pathfinder, or Warhammer 40K.
Seems I've returned from limbo just in time to say goodbye, at least for now...
Additional good fortune - and thanks again for merging "my" oases for me!
