Is it possible to pause cinematic cut-scenes on PC? I haven't found out how if you can.. can anyone help? There must be a way, am I missing it?

 

 If you can't, then I submit that it would be a good idea. Getting a knock on the door or a phone call while playing and being unable to pause is rather annoying. Even worse is my girlfriend trying to talk to me, or being called for dinner, and me replying "can I get back to you in 15 minutes when I can actually pause the game", that's caused some arguments I can assure you :-) Even when the cut-scene is over there's the lengthy loading times.. I'm enjoying the game, but feel there are huge portions where you are locked into the rollercoaster with no way off.

That would actually be a nice feature to have, now that I read your post.

Whether it is possible to implement such mechanic, I can't say.

I would have to wonder if they tried to create such feature, if it could cause game crashes, pausing cinematics and cut-scenes.

Hmm, that really makes me wonder now.

I mod Fallout New Vegas, so when such questions arise, my modding mind kicks in.

This was one feature I was hoping would make it into the game! I don't know how many times I've had problems where I don't want to miss cut-scenes yet I have to answer the phone or door etc.. It leads to a lot of reloading. I know it seems a trivial feature, but I hope it's somehow implemented.

Yeah I can understand that and I am sure there are other players that would agree with this.

Well let's see what the future holds, who knows, maybe such feature might be implemented into the game via a future patch, you never know.
