So my Hero of Fereldan, now king of Fereldan ended the fifth blight by doing the deed with Morrigan and sparing his life. It wasn't a hard decision for him to make considering he and Morrigan were both lovers.

 

But then there is Leliana. Who seemed to adore my HoF though never admitted it. He helped her with her problems but never flirted with her.

 

My inquisitor spoke to her in Haven about the HoF and she did not say much about him. In fact she was more of a "Oh yeah I was there by his side when the arch demon fell." which was true. She was part of his group storming the castle for the arch demon. Along with Oghren and Morrigan. But she didn't speak of his relationship or even friendship with her.

 

Then Morrigan enters the picture along with her son. My inquisitor talked with her for a while and learned that the lad's father was some important man. But not until after the events with the Wardens does she learn from Morrigan that the HoF "her warden" was the same person. And Kieran's father.

 

So my inquisitor spoke to Leliana again. Who said Morrigan was a changed person. More gentle with her sharp edges smoothed out. And how Kieran was surprisingly a very polite boy. But she refused to even hint to or suggest that this might be all because of my hoF's influence. That he marrying Morrigan and raising the child with her made her more kind hearted. That maybe his raising the child with her is what made Kieran so polite and well mannered. In fact she seemed like she knew but didn't even want to discuss that my HoF was the father. She just hesitated and gave Morrigan credit and just said "I don't want to talk about this right now." and exited the conversation.

 

I wonder if Leliana is jealous. She looks upon Morrigan and her child and thinks of the happy family they and the HoF have. Does she wish it was hers?

 

Maybe it was a missed opportunity as well but I wouldn't have minded seeing Leliana meet Morrigan and Kieran for the first time in Skyhold. To maybe have heard her remark how much like the HoF Kieran looks.
