There is huge difference with using makeup and using way too much of it...besides I notice mods again so if people are trying to prove me wrong by posting their modded characters then allow me to quote myself in here  :

I doubt you have huge eyes with that nose now do you? That was what I said that most characters that people create look as aliens, way too small nose with huge eyes that was what I was pointing out 

 

How is it cheating to level the playing field? As I said, the vanilla CC gives us completely useless eyebrows. I don't know any woman irl with brows like that.

There is thread about facial proportions in the CC subforum that helped me get a basic understanding of facial proportions. 

 

Here's my elf. There is still room for improvement though. I keep struggling with mouth height (it's either too low or too high) for example.

 

A lot of the "perfect" facial proportions stuff gets overly complex imo. But since you mentioned mouth height in particular, an easy one to remember is that chin-to-nostrils, nostrils-to-browbone, and browbone-to-hairline should be equal distances -- like so -- and your mouth should be closer to the nose than the chin. 

 

Imo that's fairly easy to eyeball/guesstimate with your thumb on the screen, and of course, you can still make attractive characters that fall outside that somewhat. Hope that helps.

 

EDIT: And in case OP is wondering why I'm chatting but not posting mine, it's because I don't think Bioware's ladies are ugly, and isn't that the crux of the thread? Or did I misunderstand?

No, actually. Anyone can't. If someone's using an eyebrow mod then that doesn't mean they suddenly learn how to make an subjectively attractive female character. It just means they're using an eyebrow mod. As the self-imposed judger, you should really be able to differentiate between these kinds of things.

I have no probs with BW's ladies either - I think Cass, in particular, is gorgeous.

Ok you left natural color of eyelashes which is good still I would prefer if people didn't used always same shape of eyelashes but ignoring that little thing,makeup is done well and they don't look like most generic Inquisitor like in here these characters actually look unique and different. Ok you survive the test

Ha you post for reals finally xD So let's start, love that she doesn't look like supermodel but hate her makeup...with that color of eyes you should use darker shade of eyeshadow it is way too off having this red one with intense black eyeliner at least, so don't be afraid of using a darker ones because dark eyeshadow is what will pop the eyes of this Inquisitor even more. Still nice one so far.

Ok just to say first one is what made me lose my breath away in here! Because wow! If I didn't read it was an elf I would have mistaken her for dwarf. You first elf is just so unique and is character of her own. Love her  Other characters of your are amazing as well, you used just right amount of makeup on them,you made their eyes normal and they don't look generic. All are good but your first elf is best in here.

Once again only females, no any face mods because we are playing fair in here( NOTE: some of modded characters I like how they are done but I won't mention any modded character no matter how much I like it because once again this is "No-mod Challenge"). Personally I find spending hours to create something (either it's writing fanfic, drawing fanarts, or making fan music or taking flycam-screenarchery) & share it with everyone else freely are much better than just ranting & being condescending about how people should or should not live their life and judging.
