Bioware's character creators usually do better at making you look better. To be honest Inq was the first time I felt a lot uglier than the NPCs around me; it was too complicated for its own good.

Ok so now I feel really old because before I opened up your spoiler tag, I assumed it would have been this:
And Jack Nicholson as Joker isn't bad. Though I'd have to say that Michael Keaton as Batman was way hotter... ![]()
And don't feel bad for having the guilty pleasure of having the hawts for weirdos. Have you ever played The Old Republic? Yeah, I have such a crush on Lord Scourge... ![]()

So, how creepy is this Lavellan?
She looks like she ate all the pies, but it's a head angle thing. I don't have a lot of screenies for her, so it's the best I can do.
And a while ago, there was a request for platinum male inquisitors. I humbly submit this guy. And I don't have the sliders, but if they ever release the Black Emporium, I'll get them.

It all pretty much depends on how it is applied and the style the individual is going for. I will be the first to admit I side eye a woman that is overly made up during the daytime but I wear dark eye makeup if I'm going out at night and the last thing I'm planning on doing is getting laid and I am very far from being "easy".I wouldn't say creepy, but very promiscuous. In my brief time on Earth I've learned that dark eye shadow, at least where I am from means easy if you catch my drift. But not bad
Point being, I don't think you can really label someone as being permissions due to how they choose to wear their makeup. That is more of a personality kind of thing.

Say, what's a good color for vallaslin if your character is a redhead?
Depends on your preference. I'd suggest a faded light color (light blue, yellow, orange, etc.) to offset the red hair, but anything could work if you work with the sliders a bit.

Green is the complimentary color to red. Often times when I create a character with red hair I will give them green eyes but vallaslin could work to.

I just wish there was an option to make an elven inquisitor without tattoos. I know you can make them just about invisible but for some reason it still bugs me just knowing that they're there. For some reason I seem to recall being able to do that in DA:O without having to go with the city elf origin but maybe I'm completely fabricating that in my head.
For the record, while I have no pic to post I always try to make my female rpg characters look like goths. I just really like that particular look (very pale skin, very dark hair and makeup) but I guess that would definitely fit some definitions of 'creepy' for people so I suppose I lose. (Maybe I just like creepy girls, I guess?)

I cannot begin to tell you how pointless this thread is. How do you know what I, or anyone who isn't you, find attractive? Answer? You don't. What a waste of space this is.

This is BSN. There are literally hundreds- if not thousands- of pointless threads that are created and last for dozens of pages. This is one of the more pleasant pointless threads.
You want to rage at a pointless thread? Look at the threads complaining about the 'lack of options for straight males' or the '[insert character name here] sucks and I hate them' threads. Said topics have been beaten to death and beyond so much that they're pointless in and of themselves now.
Anyway, back to the fabulous female Inquisitors! ![]()

Agreed. Some of us are having fun here. Besides, most players like it to show their Inquisitors and this thread is nothing but a fun challenge.

Say, what's a good color for vallaslin if your character is a redhead?
That color wheel is helpful, but some people find it more aesthetically pleasing to choose less dramatic combinations. Tertiary pairs (move one shade in either direction from the complimentary color) provide contrast without making either color seem harsh. Part of the trick is finding out the "base color" of hair.* This chart might help. The darker BioWare red is about shade 15 on that chart, so triadic colors would be olive green or blue violet. This guideline works for makeup, too.
* You might want to consider skin color, too. Most natural redheads have pale pinkish skin. You can create a character with red hair and gold-tinted skin, but it's always going to look like a dyed and it's going to be harder to pair with vallaslin and makeup.

I'd say green, preferably with matching eye color. If you want to see what thatight look like, check my post at the top of page 14 of this thread.
EDIT: Who am I kidding, I love having excuses to post pictures of my character, I spent too much time and restarted the game too many times trying to get her right not to be proud of how she turned out:

Okay, I admit, I like dramatic eye make up, but I never go for overly made up lips and cheeks when doing a dramatic eye. I think she looks like a fairly normal girl. This is my most recent nightmare run inquisitor. We finally made it to Skyhold. LOL!

But then I remembered that's what they looked like in DA2. There's nothing wrong with it.
Or so I thought until I took a closer look at Rasaan from Those Who Speak.

Likewise, she's pale and has white hair. However, her lips are red for constrast which is vital. That's what is missing in my character's design.

Although she bears a striking resemblance to my Knight-Enchanter, I swear my latest Inquisitor is different. For one thing, as a warrior, she keeps her head shorn because she hated pulling out her hair when it invariably got caught in her helmet. She also got that scar across her nose and down her right eye the day she learned to duck. The long scars just beneath her left jaw were another story. Those bandits nearly killed her. And her eyes are blue, not green, her skin is a shade lighter (although she's also half Rivaini), her jaw is wider, and she tends to over-pluck her eyebrows because she doesn't know any better. Her favourite colour is purple and she calls her particular shade of eyeshadow "Violent Violet" (my Knight-Enchanter personally thinks her Templar-trained counterpart wears too much eye make up). Her pet peeve is cracked, dry lips, which is why you'll find her almost constantly applying nug-balm to them (my Knight-Enchanter recoils at the thought of applying nug-anything to her person).

The hairs just never bothered me that much because I typically try to go for "immersion," and when playing warrior-women, hair is either cropped short for practicality or bound to keep it out of the way.
Yeah, but shaving random parts of your cranium is a HIGH-maintenance hairstyle. "Cropped" can go a couple of weeks before it gets shaggy and needs a trim. "Shaved" needs to be renewed almost daily.
What bugs me is how bad the stubble looks for most of them. That and the ear/forehead/cheekbone/chin clipping on many. And the fact that the TWO long hairstyles don't bend at the nape of your neck during cutscenes so it looks like a helmet.
