My favorite dragon fights featured the scaly monster interacting with the environment. For instance, the dragon in the Exalted Plains electrocuted everyone standing in the water. In the Emprise du Lion, the dragons chilled everyone in the water to death.

The Greater Mistral is a beautiful creature, but the fight wasn't as dynamic as the others. I would like the dragon to sweep characters over the cliff edge with a wind-storm attack, a tail sweep, or something like that. It would be great to desperately maneuver your characters away from the nearby precipice.

Another bonus suggestion: When the dragons fly up into the air they bombard the party with breath projectiles. I found these balls of power to be much less impressive than the breath attack when the dragon was landed. I'd prefer these flyby attacks to be rays of ice/fire/lightning rather than balls. Then they'd be harder to dodge (but not impossible), faster, and more impressive. I don't want to see the dragon spit out a glob of energy that meanders slowly down. I want a lightning bolt to smash out of the dragon's maw and strike anyone who hadn't already begun to dodge before the attack started.

I'll make a few suggestion posts, but I want to put them in perspective. I love the game and its story structure. Thanks for the delightful jaunt in Thedas.

I fear this would be kinda annoying with the current pathfinding, generally stupid AI and weird hold command. Or it would force the players to play only with OP characters or bring several mages just for cycling barriers.

If the game had free move / hold switch, ok tac cam and the option to select multiple party members at once and give them move orders from the 3rd person view just as in DAO, I would like to see at least some of your suggestions implemented.

But with the current game I could only see the weird issues that would happen like the controlled character getting kicked over the edge of the cliff, but since he is suddenly far away, others would either port to the closest possible spot or forget their commands and run towards you, etc. It would be a mess.

The tail sweep is already there, sort of. One of my playthroughs I was fighting the Hivernal in Emprise Du Lion. She and my inquisitor both had a little health left but I could've still taken her down. The next thing I know, she sweeps her tail at me and off I went, into the air and over the edge of the colosseum. I died, fight over and she lived to see another day. Not fun.  So I'm okay with other suggestions but not with the flying over the edge one. ;)
