Check the number of posts made by those responding to your questions, and take those with high numbers with a grain of salt. They are mostly amusing themselves. You can spot right off the ones making a sincere attempt to answer your questions, and there are always some of those, so keep asking.

 

Also, there are a lot of newer MP players who never post here, but do read the mail. I guarantee all your questions are ones they also have, so you do a service by stepping up and asking.

That´s not really true. Actually those with high number of posts are likely to be veteran players who know what they are talking about.  Sometimes it´s easy to spot those with sincere answers. It´s unfortunately much harder to spot those who are good natured, but trying to be funny without realizing that new players won´t understand some inside joke (of which some long time posters are indeed guilty of)

Now that I think of it, most (if not all) of my posts are ones where I ask ridiculous questions, or propose ideas that I later find out to be wrong. If you haven't noticed they are all mine, well now you do. I'm that one horrible person.

This forum is still active precisely because questions come up that have not been answered in a while.  Also, a fresh point of view helps, too!  I can't believe that I am still learning about this game after more than a year and a half.  Most of the BSN posters here are really knowledgeable, and some of them even have a sense of humor!  Keep doing what you're doing...
