SpaceVegan, you will rue that decision when you finally decide to spend it all!

I saved up 200k some time ago, and went on a spending spree. Emptying the full inventory and salvaging crap was a daunting task.

I boycott the store. I have to clean up already too many things in real life. Easy to do since I already have epic weapons for every class.

I have that fear. But what if the Future is better than the Present? What if Bioware decides to decrease the drop rate of repeated items and include new items (not just weapons that are superior to the current ones, but also character cards that award us xp like they did in ME3, who knows...)

It is a big If, but I still have hopes. After all, the Store is DAMP's source of income. For this game to continue to exist, people have to put money on it (the Store), and for more people to put money on it, there has to be a better loot system than the current one.

The main reason I don't spend my money faster is that it's so tedious to do a large buying spree.

I want to just buy 50 or 100 Large chests in a row, but I keep having to stop to Salvage crap out of my inventory to make room. And while Salvaging I have to scroll to every... single... item... and use two button presses to salvage an item (first to Salvage, second to confirm that yes I really do want to salvage it). That's a lot of scrolling and button presses to accomplish basically nothing other than garbage cleanup, all so I can get back to buying chests.

I would seriously buy more chests if the inventory / Salvage system were easier to use.

I agree the only thing more horrendous than wasting 800,000 gold on nothing..... is having to salvage each cruddy item one by one. It's like a double punishment. I realize that's not how Bioware intended it to be, but that's what it feels like.

I would be happy with the option to 'protect' items I want to keep from salvaging and thus eliminate the need for the confirmation on every level 5 common I want to salvage.

You should be able to salvage everything with one click. You should be able to salvage multiple things at once by tagging them then choosing 'salvage'. You should have an unsalvage / buyback option.

These are features in every other game with a store that has been made in the last 10 years. This isn't advanced U.I. design at this point, it's common practice.

ME3MP had no salvaging because any extra items were automatically converted into other items like consumables or increased odds of obtaining other valuable items.

Stores with specific items, trading between players, protecting items/one-click salvage, these are just bandages to a problem which bioware solved almost 3 years ago. Biower, pls, just copy cat what you did in me3mp.

I don't think they will ever bring ME3 loot system back, even knowing that by doing so they would generate income. Maybe they are just too proud of themselves, I don't know.
I've met people who were burning dollars on the ME3 Store two years post-release. That is succe$$. DAMP is a fiasco as far as loot progression is concerned.

My posts questioning loot chests have been ignored previously too, really makes me feel valued as a consumer. I love all this dev interaction we were promised, oh wait..

I started playing ME3MP in late 2013 when the WE-Challenges were already way over and all DLCs, Patches and whatnot were already released. I enjoyed the complete product so to speak...

After I learned that DA:I would have a MP as well I was so thrilled because this time I could be there from the start... but now three months post release... there are still a lot of bugs/connection issues and other stuff (loot system being terrible, weapon/equipment based play/skills)... I really try to stay hopeful and patient but at least for me it is sometimes hard with DAMP

But I found a solution which will keep my hopes and my patience up I think: I started to switch between DAMP and MEMP (having a desktop crash in DAMP? - just play a couple of matches in MEMP - then come back to DAMP and try again ^_^ )

-snip-

I kinda feel sorry for you.I pre-oredered ME3 ( as I pre-ordered DA:I) and went through all the shizz and all glorious moments(and they were plentiful).

MP forum was so active that DAMP forum looks like dead in comparison.
