This is a minor complaint, yes. But it's something that has been annoying me for a while. It's not a bug, I don't think, but it'd make me happier!
When I'm running around the world with a handful of companions, they are completely silent -- no footstep noises. They don't even show up as dots on the compass, as they do in combat.
This makes me worry that they aren't there anymore, and I end up swiveling the camera around to see them. Yes, they are most always there. Yes, I know that they will most always be there. Still, it makes me feel lonely.
Please consider adding either companion footstep noises or persistent companion minimap dots. My lonely heart will love you forever. 
P.S. If these things already exist and need to be, I dunno, enabled or something, I apologize for my foolishness and would someone please tell me how to get them?
