I think most of my characters i give generic names like Bob, or Fred...unless i really use them alot.  For instance my Krogan Sentinel is Cuddles McGee

 

because everyone should hug a krogan!

Originally, promoting reset everything about your characters - Skill Points (obviously), armour customization and their name. And then just to make it even more annoying, your first skill point would be automatically assigned to the top power.

That was changed with one of the later patches.

One of my Asari was named Krorrrora.  Sadly, he's retired now and doesn't show up in my character selection screen anymore.  At least, not under the same name.

 

My QME is named MarksMad.  No matter what button you press, he always fiddles with his omnitool (if you know what I mean).  I think he must work for Customs, because he's always screaming "Deported!".  Who knows?  You know those crazy Quarian accents.

 

My Asari Vanguard is named NuggerJuggs.  I think my disc must be bad or she's glitched.  She's very clumsy for a Vanguard.  She's always dropping things and picking them up with straightened knees, and it always takes like 5 seconds for her to pick stuff up.  She always peers behind herself just before straightening up and looks disappointed, like she was expecting something but didn't get it.  5 seconds doesn't sound like a lot, but when you're trying to Vanguard, it's ages.  Plus, that's about how long it took, combined, to create both my kids.  I guess I should change my name to Faster than Faster than FTL.

 

My Drell Vanguard is named Derbeer, and the voice actor gave him an Italian accent for some reason.  Everytime I pass a window, or anything else with a reflective surface, he always stops and poses, either admiring his off color crotchpad (why do they have those anyway?) or lifting up his trenchcoat and admires his alternating cheek flexes.  It's pretty entertaining.  When he admires his crotchpad, he says, "Siha.  Siha.  Si...deez. nutz!"  Whatever that means.  No wonder they're going extinct.

 

My Krogan Worlard's name is Smackie.  Instead of a hammer, it's a gigantic syringe.  He always disappears halfway through the first wave, and I almost never see him again.  I saw him in the background on Condor once, running around naked, makin with a mako.  Maybe that's how they make the air vents in the first place.  I'd hate to be inside when that happens.  Here comes the lipstick!

 

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!! Man, I kinda ignored this thread cause my characters have stupid and unimaginative names, then I opened out of boredom and... This! Hahahahahahahahaha!

I laughed when I read this, and my French partner made me load up a Vorcha.  She thinks you're being a bit hard on the Vorcha!

When the appropriate trailer came out, somebody in the youtube said that krogan vanguard would be a nonstop rape train. Since I find that just a little tasteless(but kinda funny nonetheless), I named my kroguard TheLittleEngine. Would add "ThatCould" but was too long.

 

My krolord is named Angry Walrus.

 

Juggy is Toasty.

 

GI is Unit42, in loving homage to Douglas Adams.

 

BatSol is Spiky, since just about everything about him has a spike theme(blade armor, ballistic blades, uses Graal) and batdept is Bomby, since, well... he uses bombs. Of a sort. Batsent is Fugly. Yes, that is his name.

 

Drelldept is called Frogemoth, since he's about as ugly as one, but also just about as destructive

 

Krosol is called Geronimo, since why fudge not?!?

 

Vorcha hunter is Kermit, since he kinda looks like one.

 

Asariguard is Vishnya D'Nar, which, when translated to my language, roughly translated as Cherry The Money.

 

Smashdept is Herod, since I found it appropriate. I'll be damned it I know why, though...

 

TGI is Medvedov, Havoc is Jelcin and Saboteur is Putin. I think I was drunk when I was naming them. I hope I was drunk when I was naming them...

 

Volus engie is Shorty, voldept is Nuktuk.

 

AIU is SHODAN.

 

I call ACA Vengeance... yes, terribly original, I know.

 

Destroyer is named Hank, Paladin is Jack and Demolisher goes by the name of Tanya. Have to have some normalcy in there, after all Goddess knows it's in short supply as it is.

You're thinking of Admiral Rael'Zorah Han'Gerrel.  While Shep was on the dreadnought and Rael'Zorah Han'Gerrel was shooting at same dreadnought, Admiral Zaal'Koris was sacrificing his ship to take down a geth planetary cannon.  You then have an optional mission to save Zaal'Koris.

 

Edit: Confusing Rael'Zorah with Han'Gerrel while correcting someone else's lore-error.  Hoist on my own petard.

NO. Rael'Zorah is (obviously) Tali'Zorah's father, who died in ME2. Han'Gerrel is the Admiral you can punch if you're a confirmed bosh'tet with rustled space jimmies who can't take a good troll.
