After reading Angry Elcor's post, I just thought...you know how in-game..sometimes you can see the name of the banner that person is using under their gamertag? I think it would be cool if instead, we could see the name of the character that the player chose for them.

I've been saying this for years! I wish your character names would show up under your gamertag. I want everybody to know that my krogan vanguard is named the Lord of Feces. Guess I'll list some others...

I give them dumb names based on what they do. Turian Soldier is OG FATBOY and turian sentinel is God of Fat Turians or something like that (maybe just God of Turians because I don't think the whole thing fits otherwise).  Drell infiltrator is Frogboy. GI is Jeff. Turian Infiltrator is DealWithIt™. Asari adept is HurrDurrStasis. QFE is QFE. QFI is QFI.  All my batarians are named Batarian.  All my female humans and the turian cabal are named after me and all male humans are named after my husband and why do I suddenly feel bad for never playing them

 

edit: oh, and I had a phoenix adept named TheNightLasher

 

I felt really clever for that one.  

 

edit: though for some reason I must have recolored him and renamed him Dragoon at some point, I've slipped to the dark side

I'm pretty sure I have a Paladin somewhere called Boogie 

 

I think I've said before that my main a/c characters are all linked in some way to The Ramones, with my Krogans as the obvious primary characters Joey is the Soldier, Johnny the Sentinel, Tommy is the Warlord (obviously) and Dee Dee is the Adept, making the ground shake. No Vanguards in a perfect foursome. 

 

On my alts all the male characters are called BOB, and the females Bob, which as any self-respecting Blackadder fan knows is short for Kate. My Juggy is UNCLE BOB, for reasons Terminator Force should understand.
