I like the hacking mini-game in the PC version but the time constraint makes it somewhat frustrating for me.  If i'm an Engineer with a maxed out Decryption skill then you would think that would allow more time to hack a computer or locker.

I see what you mean, but remember it's really just a mini game that's designed to add a bit of fun. Increasing the time limit would take all the tension out of it.

Also the game is pretty easy, does it really NEED more time?!

Oh, also, having better decryption skills is already acknowledged by allowing you access to more advanced decryption items.
