This is the single player game. The hero and his party each one has already three drinks / elexiers in their equipment. A common healing drink which is for the whole party, and two specific ones for each of them.  Like for example Lyrium for the magicans.

But now I want to change some of that drinks for them, because the level of the drinks are increased and some would better get anti-fire-elexier  instead of Lyrium .

But whatever I try I'm unable to change the selection of drinks I did in the beginning.

 

Additional.: How I can get plants in the garden of the sky castle's garden. There is a button to select them but no button to acknowledge the selection, only 'back' buttons to leave the selection list.

And when I come to visit the garden next time ( for example after coming back from an other game )

I went to the garden and it still says 'elect a new plant' During 200 hours off playing the game maybe one or two times some plants have grown and I could get one 'Arbor' added to my materials list while I have read some people get 50 pieces of plants when they come back.

What I'm doing wrong? BTW. I'm playing on a PC .

For the drink, if I remember correctly, you click and hold on the drink you want and then slide your cursor to the place you want the drink to go...that new drink replaces the old drink.

 

On the plants, I am only able to get 1 plant from each pot, as far as I can tell. So with the garden upgrade, I can get a total of 6 plants each time I come back from being away from Skyhold. 

 

When picking new seeds, put a check mark beside the seeds you want. After that, as long as you want that particular seed, you don't have to click beside that plant again because the check mark stays there and selects that plant. Also, after I pick plants, as long as I don't change seeds, the same plants grow again. I think the first time I pick a new seed and it grows, it's not always finished growing when I come back to Skyhold...it seems like they may take two times away from Skyhold to grow...not positive about that. 

 

I'm not sure how anyone has gotten 50 pieces of plant when they get back, unless they use a mod...I know there is a mod that allows your advisors to come back with more than 6 herbs at a time but I'm not sure it gives you 50 at a time either.

You get ONE each harvest out of the Skyhold garden unless you use mods to change that. Coming back with 50 is not a problem if you mean coming back from farming them out in the world. You can go farm 100 of one plant if you like.

Thx to both of you for the answers. I'll try, but as much I remember there it was very seldom to get plants most time there is  written select a new seed. But maybe it is, because I always tried to set new seeds when it was written and never waited for coming back twice.

You drag the potion/elixir to the slot you wish to use.

Remember you can get three slots total if you use an inquisition perk under 'Forces'. This means you can have both healing, regeneration and either an elixir, lyrium or a grenade in the last slot.
