make an easy game easier and a game that was extended by grinding shortened by much since people wont have to chest reset because you could buy t3 weapons and armors 

 

Which brings back the question of, what's the value of disruption field?  If the game is so easy, and your using exploits and refusing to update the game, why do you need a crappy skill like disruption field.  Just turn on barrier and spam spirit blade and fade cloak.  You don't even need companions, let alone disruption field.

A few posts ago in another thread you were claiming that the KE is too overpowered to be any fun.

Alright then, I'll try to summarize again for posterity sake.  People will come looking about the use of disruption field, and i'd be remiss if I let them read posts by someone, whose entire opinion is based around the idea of "I won't download the patch because I like to 'exploit' disruption field against dragons, etc"

 

So, disruption field:

If you don't download patches, it is great.  It CC's everything.  

If you do download patches (I dunno...maybe because you like mighty blow to detonate, or like quests to complete or initiate...or heck you just like to patch games to get the game working when it's not), then just get static cage.  It does the same thing, but with damage.  The only penalty you pay with static cage, is the extra 3 skills you have to sink into the electricity tree to get to the bottom whereas disruption field is right there.

OP was asking uses of disruption field, and the answer is...*drum roll*...something to use when you're bored of seeing spirit blade animation.
