ME overall, yeah. Day one of ME 1.
The Tactical Cloak war was a fun time. So much anger on the boards. Pro-Nerf V Anti-Nerf.

It was a split between people who think co op should emphasis cooperation and people who think co op should be unrestricted.
The ultimate solution would be to allow hosts to kick without a need for votes, text chat, and some kind of way to restrict kits and maps (i.e. a "no reegars allowed room").

Even if I'm the host and the room is full I quit. I mean like...why use that setup in a game with other people? Trying to impress people by scoring the most points or something? I just don't get it.
Back in the days I started people did´n´t moarn "Back in my days..."-storries. We yelled "Great Times" got drunk, went to a willow and tipped dinosaurs.
Played ME1 on Xbox 360, then again on PC at release.
Played ME2 on PC at release.
Played ME3 Demo.
Played ME3 MP and SP simultaneously at release.
Still playing ME3 MP on alternate account.
Back in my day when I got outscored I made excuses (not accepting I was just not good enough), now others make excuses when I outscore them.

I don't think it's that all the time. I used to be a little more skeptical about loadouts but now, I just like to play. Use whatever you want - I don't care. Most of the time these days it seems the complete opposite and there's no gear equipped at all. You know (experience has shown me) those games are going to be a chore with a lot of downed player action. I'll take the score ****** any day.

I love rooms filled with newbies where nobody uses gear. It's so challenging, trying to keep people alive and be a good team player while doing so. It's great! So much better than "pew pew, everything is dead." At least, I think so.
The original full experience mod puts the classics maps, wavelists and original enemies back. Sometimes I FBWGG.

You can use gear and be a better team player by actually killing enemies. I have nothing against new players. I was once a newb as well. But I put in my dues and I didn't expect anyone else to carry me by not equipping items. If I had it, I used it.
That'd be like saying "This one class with the Talon is really good."
I mean like, no kidding. The Talon is good on anybody, natch. Line up headshots with the Claymore and woohoo, things die. If you don't mind the cooldowns, which really, doesn't that defeat the purpose of playing a particular class?

I started to play ME3MP at the end of 2013 after I played all the trilogy. I started to play few bronze matches to increase the galaxy reactivity in order to get the best ending. Then after some time I started to play the MP seriously. I never did a weekend challenge though...
No, it doesn't. You're still playing a class with incinerate, cryo blast and sentry turret. You can just use them a bit less often, which makes for a different playstyle. But it's still a playstyle unique to the FQE, which you're not going to see with any other kit. It is not for everyone, that is for sure, but some enjoy it a lot, and I don't understand why people around here keep looking down on those who do...
Slippery slopes, my friend. It was that mindset (weapons to rule them all) which gave rise to the lameness of the top-tier infiltrators that break everything with no teamwork whatsoever. I just oppose it out of principle.

Same here, although I had ME3 day of release, I unfortunately didn't have Internet where I was living at the time.I started after all of the balance changes were complete. I'd research the game, only to find that the advice I was getting was a few updates old. I never got to do a weekend challenge.
Oh geez. I forgot all about the map changes.

I still haven't started playing ME3. I'm still working on getting past the loading screens.

On Topic. Played ME1 and 2 soon after release, same with ME3. Got into Multiplayer with Operation Olympus (August 2012), so i do know about weekend challenges and balance changes, but i never grabbed a pyro

I've… seen things you n00bs wouldn't believe… Human Vanguards floating 300 feet up in the air while trying to charge. I watched Salarian Engineers with Krysaes ripping appart whole spawns on Firebase White near the stairs up to the landingzone. I witnessed the rise an fall of the Carnifex. 4 Volus in Rio's box of shame.
All those… moments… will be lost in time, like [Volus heavy breathing]... Cobras during a laggy match… in… Hazard Ghost's acid rain.
Time… to… bleed out.
