i would like to see more options into dai to be able to rule more like a king/inquisitor.

players could be able to build new castles like they wish  and to take the own army with them on a journey or to make war.

players could be able to build new villiages and cities..to build trade roads in the own country.more options to make policy.. to raise taxes and of course to convict prisioners.a king should be also able to marriage and to choose which uniform and armor his army should wear.

players should be able to choose on which side they are...are they a bad king like sauron or darth vader himself? or are they a hero.. a good king ??

i would also like if the player as king could make  a own dance ball/party and to make ceremonys to promote and raise a soldier up to a lord or knight .

the player could be able to visit other lands and kingdoms and make policy with other kings and lords .

there ist much more capability into the thought to play as a king.. at least i didn't know  a other rpg where i be more as only a hero who fight alone or with some other characters together against the enemys.to be only the hero into the most rpg is kinda boring.

i didn't know a rpg where i can play as evil king...who use his army to make bad things happen... burn viliages and towns down.. kill innocent peoples....to conquer countrys and as example big cities like val royeux .. to plunder cities and castles....to make war with nevarra or any other country and citiy on the map.

it would be awesome if all that and much more could be a option for the player instead that the player can only be the good guy.

I'm personally not really interested in playing as intentionally destructive character. I got an impression there are already several pc games where you can be bad, unless all the taglines like "are you going to be their savior or their doom" mean you can practically only be the savior? Anyway I think being a ruler like that sounds like different game than Dragon Age as we know it.

But I do have this one inq for whom it would be fitting to descend into a "fat elvis period" after gaining too much power. It's not same as evil! :D

Inquisitor seems like the most (logically) powerful DA hero yet, so it might be interesting to do something with it? I'd be happy just to get more people to judge. The terrible guilty pleasure. (I spared everyone so far but tried to troll them as hard as possile, for justice. Could I keep it up?)

That could be really cool. Also added customizing your troops so they don't look like a rag tag army with wooden shields

I'd rather they focus more on serious story then more sand boxy stuff.

There's enough of that, I really don't play dragon age for fetch quests..

well i think dragon age inquisition is a game.. a rpg about decisions in general.

you can be rude to your companions or you can be nice to them.. its your decision.

you can fight together with the templars and against the church and you can also fight  together with the church against the templar...its up to you.

you can be a man or a wife and you can choose your race... also your class.

these and many more decisions into the game stick together with consequences and they manipulate or influence  the story.

your decision make or build the story.

but you can't decide to be be a  villain or a hero.

you must be the hero no matter what for decisions you maked earlier.

in that case it doesn't matter if your decisions are evil and selfish or not because they doesn't affect your reputation in thedas.

well maybe your decisions have a influence on possible alliance relationsships between you and other lords and kings .

but no matter who will be your enemy .. one for sure you be always the hero.

so you can be rude to your companions and its possible that they leave you but no matter how bad you treadet them you will be a hero like before.

no matter how bad you treat other queens , lords and kings into the storyline you be always a hero.you can kill all your prisioners without mercy (that looks like a behave of a villain) but you be the hero.a true hero would show mercy to the prisioners even if they are evil ones... but no matter about your decision you be always the hero.

i would like to be able after all that possible decisions into the game to have also the option to decide  to follow the light or to step into the dark with all consequences and possibilities.

you are right , there are some games where you can play as villain...but the most of them are no rpg.i only know that you can be a villain in the rpg fable....

in other rpg you can choose the class thief .. assassine , necromacer or something like that...that sounds evil or not ? but you are always the hero no matter which class you choose.

all your evil acts in all dragon age games are only minor one acts  they just affect a little amount of people and not the whole world.

but at the end of the games the whole world celebrates you as a hero.because of dai its the fact that you safed the world and the world is thankfull .

for the most people you act more like a hero and less than a villain..thats why all evil acts and decisions are soon forgotten.

we have to keep also in mind that if you act evil to some people (a) .. other ones  can have a different point of view and call your action as the act of the true hero because they fear or hate the people (a) for some reasons.

if you kill innocents and no one care about that .. who will blame you for that ? who will judge you ? the dead ones ?

in the  games you can be only a small criminal and that only for a limited time.... because at the end no one term you as criminal .

but you can't be the emperor of a dark evil empire...like sauron..or palpatine the sith.

you can't make a world war.. you can't conquer thedas.

you cant be a evil dictator.no one shiver in fear if he see you.

if you act evil without permanent consequences .....without that the world interact with you like it should then it doesn't matter.

you can act evil .. but instead that the people shiver in fear because of you and try to hide if they see you.. they just act like nothing bad happens.they laugh in your face .. salute to you friendly even if you killed there children.

to make the situation more worse and silly they nominate you to a saint and a hero.

how does it feel if you play as  a villain without to get the reputation of a evil one ?

sure you can sit alone all time into your evil hideout or hidden cave and say to yourself that you be evil but if no one else think the same way .. then who cares what do you think about yourself ? if you make one step out of the hideout then you see that the whole world celebrate you as saint.

this is a tragic comedy.
