It's officially Sony's Ryse.
True. But at least Ryse has a multiplayer component to keep the player interested after completing the campaign.

Thank God Bloodborne comes out in a month.
Pfft who cares about Bloodborne?
*Crickets*
Exactly. It's all about Persona 5 this year.
Shhhh, we don't talk about "Him".
"Him"? The cross-dressing Satan stand-in with gogo boots and crab hands?

This.
I wasn't looking forward to it before the beginning of February, but since playing Darkest Dungeon, I'm very much excited about bashing my skull against monsters until something breaks (hopefully the monster)!
Also, Persona 5. Which I can only assume will come stateside December 30th. ![]()

As an Xbox One owner, I never played Ryse because even its premise didn't interest me.
1886 at least had that going for it. Still tho.
I was watching the playthrough of 1886 and didn't even finish it before I switched to watching a Hatoful Boyfriend playthrough to completion.
I'm now on its sequel of sorts, Holiday Star.
Hatoful Boyfriend is 10/10 material

Duh... I just saw my brother watching that cartoon and Satan in the exact same dress, yesterday...
Edit: Ah -> watching Satan who has worn the exact same dress

You're brother was watching Powerpuff Girls and Satan while wearing gogo boots and crab hands? Because that's how that reads.
Personally, if I saw my brother wearing gogo boots and crab hands while watching young girls fight Satan, I'd be a little more distressed.
I'm a little bummed that none of the current titles really excite me........I mean I've had the PS4 since my birthday in July, and I only have two games.......................
My hopes now hinge on bloodbourne, witcher 3, and whenever the heck Kingdom Hearts 3, Fallout 4, or Bioshock 4 are ever announced.....

Have you downloaded any free titles? I have on my One and they've given me some games to run through while I wait for stuff that I'm interested in.
I have DC Online, some demos like minecraft, Thief, I tried the PT demo which I'll never play again!

Here is the first paragraph of the review: "Do you like movies? Do you like video games? If you answered "yes" to either of those questions, you should probably skip The Order: 1886."

LPPrince put it best in my opinion, "If you want to make a movie, make a movie".

F*ck Kotaku though
Kotaku has some good people, like Richard Eisenbeis, I can usually always count on him for some thoughtful insights on the JRPG medium and other Japanese stuff along with some occasionally good reviews.
As for The Order -- It looked to me like your average pop up shooting gallery, you point at the nasty men and making bullets go at the nasty men and then the nasty men fall over. Moving on.
LOLOLOL
Ryse is trending on twitter just from people comparing it to The Order

Assuming the gameplay was interesting enough to warrant trying out multiplayer. Ryse seemed way too basic on every level to spend too long with it.
A lot of reviewers agree that the facial hair is the best in gaming so far.......but alas a lot of potential with the game is wasted.

Lol I used to love that show.Saw this on NeoGAF, LOL!
no surprised tbh
Only one game i got my eye on an that's The Division, worried to hell cause Ubisoft on the box or i prob would/might have pre-ordered, but was burnt a few times in 2014 so not pre-ordering anything much an specially nothing from Ubisoft
While The Order: 1886 is a fun adventure with lots of intriguing reveals about the nature of its world, it’s also clear that Ready At Dawn intends for this to be the first game of a grander story. Players should brace themselves for a lot of unresolved character arcs and unanswered questions. This is an origin story, but a fascinating one. 1886 goes against the current tide of open-world wandering and emergent sequences, and banks on the idea that players can enjoy a straightforward and relatively brief cinematic adventure – if it’s well told and original. I hope Ready At Dawn is right; I’d love to see what happens in 1887.

a+++++ gif, oh my god.

A message to game developers: You're not film makers. You're not Spielberg. Make fun games. That is all.
GameInformer released their review. It's a bit more forgiving, but I've seen enough to put it down as a rental at best. Most likely skipping.
I read that quote in a sarcastic tone, and it was priceless. ![]()
