Hey guys :).

I have looked into this problem but no cigar so far regarding my particular problem.

So I am one of those users with a 3440x1440 21:9 widescreen monitor and I already fixed the resolution by using Flawless Widescreen.

A discussion about how to achieve the 21:9 resolutions and fixes for cut off HUD is already discussed here:

The only remaining problems i run into is having offset red target reticles which are way off to the right. (In ME1 even the blue static reticles are way off, too. So any help on that matter would be of help as well)

So now I wish to either know how to ONLY remove the red target reticles (the ones on enemies) without removing the crosshair or how to fix the position of the red reticles to match up with the enemies again without affecting the crosshair.

I posted two photos, the 1st one shows the behaviour of the blue reticles on static objects such as doors, hacking bays, computers etc. which works normally as usual.

The 2nd picture shows the red reticle far off to the right of the enemy.

Any help would be much appreciated :).

Thank you!

I know this is an old thread but I figured out a workaround for this...cause hay it was driving me nuts as well  ;)

I found a way to remove the reticle by setting the value

BIOUI/SFXGame.SFXSF_ReticleCombatTarget.m_fSelectionBoxScailingFactor

Set the value to a very large number. I am using  1000.0f

I set this using Iron Spine's Mass Effect 2 Coalesced Editor v1.0.032 ( B).

This value determines how large the reticle is relaive to the apparent high of the selected enemy. The value is normally 0.9f, slightly smaller than the enemy. By setting it to a very large value, the reticle becomes so large that is it off the screen, effectively making it disappear.

Just search for the value and change it as described above. I hope this helps solve your problem

Note: I have not figured out how to correct the one for destructive items yet tho, but that is not such a huge issue.
