I had this on my mind for a while, actually. But I never got around to it. This wishlist is a compilation of thoughts I would like to see in Dragon Age Inquisition.

1.Dual-Wield for Warriors

Spoiler

2. Two specailizations for the Inquisitor and the ones that need to come back

Spoiler

3. Vitaars for all

Spoiler

4. It doesn't deserve a DLC, it deserves a full-blown expansion.

Spoiler

I leave hoping that this list might make it to one of your meeting regarding future plans for Dragon Age Inquisition.

I agree with you, but I would prefer that Bioware does it right. They have advertised Dragon Age, since the beginning as a Dungeons and DragonsTM game, but they have failed miserably with some of the very basic rules:

1. Fighters can use all weapons and armor. (That would solve many complaints)

2.  A Rogue's primary weapons are short sword, dagger, shortbow and crossbow. Allowing them to use all one-handed weapons, small shields, and bows only makes sense.

3. WEAPONS DON'T HAVE LEVELS!!!! They NEED to remove the levels on all weapons/items.

The violation of these 3 VERY BASIC principles have destroyed my enjoyment of DAI. The other thing I absolutely hate is having to login online to play a game in single player mode.

I WISH BIOWARE WOULD DO THINGS THE RIGHT WAY, instead of the greedy way by trying to control all aspects of our gaming lives.

This. I wonder why they took away the finishers after killing dragons and other enemies? Chopping heads off in Origins was awesome.

All of these suggestions are great. I would also like to add tougher choices, like saving the city elves vs the Dalish, and having a companion die because of that choice.  Letting a country get over run by dark spawn or invaded by the Qunari, and yes once again a companion suffers because of that choice. ect.

I especially like the last point, a full expansion, that's what they need to do, there too much stuff to cover after the epilogue, they can't just add a dlc for a mission with morrigan or something, no they need to move the story forward with a big expansion, to see what happen after the ''ending''

THIS.  SO MUCH.  It's the first thing I noticed that the game was lacking...

Also THIS.  I've posted it before but I don't want a Wolf Hunt DLC.  With the way Inquisition ended, the next part of this story HAS to be GRAND.  DLCs tend to be too short.  There is SO MUCH to what is going on (and if you dug around a bit and paid attention to Solas/Cole dialogs, you KNOW something big is coming).

To quote from BTVS : You think you know what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

I have a few of my own.

1. Get rid of the constant grumpy face. Seriously, why does everyone have this ugly scowl on their faces outside of cutscenes?

2. Female characters should have female animations in cutscenes. Watching my female elf walk around as if she's hunched forward, carrying watermelons under her arms and between her knees, is painful. If Cassandra can have a feminine walk in cutscenes, so can the female Inquisitor. Or, for those who hate the female walk, a toggle/option to swap between the feminine and masculine movements.

3. Give some point to having the bedroom in Skyhold. Put in some shelves that can house certain 'valuables' you can pick up (e.g. a 'glass' collection where you can actually see the Glass Halla, Glass Fox, etc.), similar to the display case in ME. Put the planned storage container in there (or a second one that shares the contents with the one in the Undercroft). Put in a wardrobe so people can change their pajamas into other outfits (even just recolours of said pajamas).

Regarding my thoughts on the OP's suggestions:

1 - Yes, provided warriors get their own DW skill tree. Ability trees should be class specfic to allow them to be properly integrated into that classes design and playstyle, instead of having bland abilities than work for multiple classes. A DW warrior should be completely different from a DW rogue, somethhing DA:O failed at.

2 - Yes on more specialisation options, no on being able to chose multiple of them (and in case anyone else suggests it, no to being able to change your specialisation in a repec). By limiting the player to one specialisation with no chance of changing it, the developers have made your choices on the matter far more meaningful. They've made the spec far more part of your character than before, and that is a good thing, even if it reduces the total amount of choice available.

3 - No. Vitaar are a Qunari thing. Lore wise, they can only be used by Qunari. And the lore should be adhered to. That's what make world immersive and interesting.

4 - Yes. That's not to say I wouldn't want some DLCs, but a full scale expansion would be very welcome. The former are great for adding extra content into the existing story, but the latter are so much better for continuing the plot.

The only reason I would want vitaars for all is not to shut off non-Qunari from wearing them. I did that you would need a researcher to make vitaar for non-Qunari and perhaps a few 'text operations'. Just because vitaar are a Qunari thing doesn't mean that other races should not be sexy. It would probably suit humans better than other non-Qunari races, anyway. Having the second largest body builds. After the Qunari, that is.

It is annoying finding an amazing, unique weapon, and then realizing you can't actually use it until you've gained three levels -- by which time the unique weapon is no longer amazing, but merely average, and you don't want to use it anyway. lol

I really prefer the single specialization choice. It makes a lot more sense characterization wise, and that's a big factor for me. If the specializations are well implemented, then there shouldn't be much of a downside.

That said I really would enjoy the return of  both Bard and Spirit Healer.

DLC/Expansions are really the only thing I could ever reasonably expect for Inquisition, while the spec limit and class-restricted talents like dual-wielding are pretty much set in stone. I will say, I strongly dislike level restrictions with a passion, and would love to see this go away. I greatly prefer having my gear be restricted by the attributes, so I can equip whatever so long as I have enough dexterity or strength or magic or whatever.

Playing devil's advocate on specialisations: They're badly balanced as it is, having two would be even worse.
Imagine a Tempest with Opportunity Knocks for instance, the Flask of Fire + Thousand Cuts combo would be even more broken.

I didn't realize bursting into a bloody pulp was considered "family friendly".

I totally agree with all points! DW warrior was a really fun class to play in Origins.

I also have some suggestions myself: I would love to adjust the party tactics in more detail. And make some cutscenes for the war table missions already. Alistair fighting murderous kitchen boys? I want to see this myself, not just read it!

Story wise it would be really really great to see the Hero of Ferelden again.

Edit: And please let us more than 8 abilities. I didn't even want to level up my hero after some time, as I can't use the new abilities and don't get to distribute attributes either.

My biggest request will never happen, but I can wish anyway. Bring back the Tactical options and make the tac-cam useful.

If combat was more fun, I could enjoy the grind rather than having to just plod through it.

See, I love that idea, but they took out attribute points too... yet another thing we don't control.

Why the hell would they remove attribute points???

Vitaars suck... I want DA2 style Vitaars like the qunari had. The red running from chin down to chest, etc.

Then again qunari were a very cool beastial race back then, now they're elves with horns.
