In Wicked Eyes, Wicked Hearts, toward the end after "Evade the Trap", after I talk to the mercenary that Gaspard hired then all the doors are locked on all sides and I can't get out. The wiki's that I read said that I should be able to leave by one of the doors so I'm confused, I can't find any other way out of that garden area. Is there a workaround or do I need to go back to an earlier save. The only save I have to go back to is the very start of "Wicked Eyes, Wicked Hearts" and I didn't really want to go all the way through it again. I'm at the end with all the halla statues found, all the gossip listened to, all the stashes found.

Are you sure there aren't some stairs you can go down? I don't recall exactly how the map looks but I remember I had a similar problem and couldn't figure out where to go during the Winter Palace once and everything seemed blocked, until I realized there were stairs in a corner of the room that I kept overlooking for some reason. >.<

Yeah, it did that to me once (DX crash in the mercenary convo, reloaded and all doors locked, had to go back to before closing the rift and, do it again. I assume the trigger that unlocks those doors happens during the last part of the mercenary convo and, if that gets buggered for whatever reason, it doesn't unlock the doors.

So it is a bug then. I'll have to redo the whole mission then because I don't have any save spots before the rift.

I can't believe people are still getting this bug. It happened to me when my game closed itself right after I closed the rift. A cutscene is supposed to trigger, and upon reloading the game, it obviously didn't. No choice but to reload an earlier autosave. Maybe the devs should patch it so that you can manually trigger the cutscene by walking up to the guy chained on the ground.

I got past it this time thank goodness. I had to go back to the beginning of Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts to do it and was worried that I would get stuck again. This time though I made a hard save before I walked out the door to that cut-scene. I wasn't taking any chances. I guess I just need to save more often than I do. lol

I'm glad you got past it and, F5 is your best friend in this game - he likes to be touched, so do that a lot.
