I love this thread because anyone that gets defensive about it (like you) I know they are running an AW on higher stats.  Man it must be so damn boring running your AW like that.  Then knowing that nobody respects it must hurt even more.  2nd place is really 1st place when playing with an AW.

Or it could be that people are thinking your endless rant about a class ( which you admit to not even playing) being oh so unbalanced and somehow breaking this coop game for you by scoring more points than you is getting a bit old.

 

In short: Learn to play, and dry your eyes.

 

And before you get any ideas: AW is level 8, 0 promotions and the only mage I play even semi-regularly is the necro.

No i'm the great strategist. I can win and have fun on Perilous by using real strategy and no AW.  You depend on an OP flawed noob class to CARRY you to victory. There is a big difference.

Carry? It's like walk in the park, and practically all my XP gained from Chain Lightning and autoattack. PotA, Fade Step/Cloak? Too difficult for me. Spirit Blade? I hate CQC.

Smooth: Stop crying and just make private matches with the many friends you should have made by now from playing DAMP a bunch. Talk to everyone on your team and ask them if they want to do a no-AW or no-mage run on Perilous or any other unique style run to make it fun.

 

A coordinated Keeper/Reaver working together tears it up, try it, it's probably risky at times, but it's fun.

 

AW is stacked, we get it. It's your choice if you want to be a girl or play around it.

Nope. I usually lead lobbies by a decent amount. Fury of the Veil + blizzard + walking bomb + death siphon + Ring of Life Drain (Unique). AWs go down more often than I do.

 

Edit: So anyone who disagrees with you only uses the AW with ridiculous willpower stat?

wow, just wow,

 

this has to be the 5th anti aw thread in a week, the class is cool to play especially for pugs, because you can pop a lobby  and spam him all the way to the finish line solo if required without taking 30 mins to get there.....

 

the only bad time to use an aw is a final room pop PotA and have some ass hat melee knock everything out of the pull getting the party wiped as everything fails to be stunned and is free running leaving the aw nothing to hit as every archer in the room insta kills him without a barrier ..........

 

 

pretty sure that guy was upset too because the previous stage I did the same move and wiped every mob in it (well technically it was the necro who one shot everything inside the pull but hey ho)  on the 3rd stage I let him pull the same stunt except we were still round the corner and let him bleed out before killing it all .......

 

 

he ranted about it as well whilst the rest of the part cleared another 2 runs without his lame ass .....
