  I've tried to post this in the tech support forum but have not been given any help over a 3 day period so I am hoping that you guys will help me. 

I bout DA to play on my roommates xbox because I did not own an xbox at the time. logged roughly 75 hours of gameplay and then my roommate moved out. I had downloaded both blood dragon armor and stone prisoner dlc and been playing with them on his xbox. After he moved out my awesome girlfriend bought me an xbox for christmas.  I went to my roommates new apt and put 2 of my saves on a memory card and tried to play them on my  xbox.  Didnt work. I was choosing the correct device (memory card) but was not even given the option to load my games.

Next i connected my xbox to live, and downloaded the same dlc that I had on my old roommates xbox. I am still not given the option to load my games. 

Please HELP ME! I have no clue what to do and i have invested time and money in this game and want to be able to play. Maybe this has something to do with being on 2 different live accounts? Thanks

It may be that it does not allow saves made on a different machine to be loaded on a second...

I have a PS3, and we cannot even copy our saves - so we cannot move them to another system.

You are probably in the same boat.

You have to start again - different machine, new game.

I think... not sure, as I said, PS3 user.

anyone know if that is true? I think i would lose a little respect for the game designers if that is true

It is not about game designers, silly.



ALL games nowadays *cannot* be copied from one system to another...



NONE of my PS3 games can be... unless I copy the *entire* hard drive and write that over the new PS3...



This may work for you... not Biowares fault, though.

hmm didn't know that. just got my xbox a few weeks ago. still sucks though. still hoping someone will tell me otherwise...

Like I say, I am a PS3 user... there may well be a way around it...

Also, if you have to start again, consider it, because it is a good enough game - and gets better the further you go...

I'm pretty sure its cause you changed Live ID's. Saves are tied to your ID.
