I downloaded the Mac version of dragon age origins. I can't register it for some reason it doesn't show up on the list of games to register. Here's the crazy thing, I can post in every forum EXCEPT technical support for MAC. Crazy huh. Any explanations please?

I don't suppose you have tried to register as the PC version?

you can't "register" ME1, and so you can't post to this forum Mass Effect 1 & 2 Characters, classes and Builds (Spoilers allowed)

none of this is helpful. how can you register your game to post in the forums IF THE SITE DOESN'T EVEN HAVE THE GAME FOR YOU TO REGISTER!!!?
I've been trying like hell to get into the mass effect 1 forums, and I own both games, even have it registered on ea.com, and it STILL doesn't work.
what's the specific answer people? how do you do register Mass Effect "1" to post in forums?

I should be registered under DA:O and DA:O Awakening, shouldn't prevent me from posting in ME forums.

You're the victim of the amateur quality software development here, is all (same source vector as the linked thread).

I, too, have been unable to register my copy of ultimate edition. All I get when I try is a "Code is invalid" response.
Is there a solution to this problem, or are we all just sitting here kvetching about it?
Any chance a representative of Bioware might be able to provide some enlightenment?

There is no restriction on ME-1's PC Tech and Xbox360 forum, and anyone seeing one is just seeing some idiot error message that means nothing similar to what it is saying. It's lying to you, and the local web mavens haven't got a clue how to find the source of their error.Snoteye wrote...
ME is registered on the legacy site. Whether that will allow you to post I can't say.

There doesn't seem to be a difference between ME and ME2 though. I haven't registered my ME but can still post stuff there (can you register ME?)

But my game keys are not like what the "requirement"!
It says I have to write XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX, but mine is like XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.
Should I write it like the forum wants, or exactly what it is written like in my game manual?

Same problem with me and while I don't have my games registered, it's because I keep getting "Code not valid for this game" for about tens of tens times. Already asked for support from EA (but still had problems even with a new code, gonna check now if there's any update for my problem).
It sucks...why can't the registration be something simple instead of giving me and thousands of peoples difficulty!? >_<
And I really...really...really want to chat in the forums and use the toolset.
So here's praying I get the answer soon.

I am having a similar issue, I can't post in any of the Warhammer forums and every time I try to put in my code it tells me I have already registered Warhammer Online, I don't ever seem to get an icon but if I check my registered game products it shows Warhammer Online as one of them, I just wanted to post in the suggestions box D:

-pats Dreskar on the back- There there. Ask support to help ya. It did for me.
So far, I think my problem is solved, I think my game is registered and I'm very happy, thanks to support but there's still one tiny problem.
....I still have the "You do not meet the requirements to post in this forum" AND cannot gain access to the toolset.
-hits head on table- I know electronics are out to get me. I just know it.

how can people post on say dragon age 2 discussion forums if its not even out? this is so annoying bethesda and lionhead never give me any trouble I guess its only EA who likes to overcomplicate everything.

Or it could be that they want you to register so if you have something bad to say they can suspend you from playing the game.

Seems lame to me! I played Mass Effect to pretty much 100% and and would enjoy discussing it, but got rid of it long ago and have only just now signed up for the forums. Also, to save money, I've been playing 2 via GameFly rental. The only thing they're (Whoever they are) accomplishing is the prevention of communication between fans.
Here's a big wrench, though. What happens if, say, a person goes to register a used copy only to find that that copy was registered? Or if, say, the copy in question didn't come with a launch case cover?

So... people who either rent the game, buy it used or get it from a friend can't post in certain sections of the official forums. Pretty darn retarded way to "stop piracy", EA.
