I can see the galaxy map thing for ME3 on my profile but I am yet registered for the game which I did already since I could see the map otherwise. I have been playing online on my PS3 as well. I have the collector's edition and I still can't download the sound track.

Edit: I can see my two achievements through multiplayer on my profile but it still says I am not registered to post in the forums even though I am. Is there a waiting period or something?

I'm getting this message in the ME3 forums but I have a registered ME2 copy. I'm only getting it in the ME2 forums, even in the multiplayer forums and I used to be able to post there because I gave feedback there on the demo.

What's going on here?

This is nuts. I can see my multiplayer stats on this site for ME3 (hint: This means I have an Online Pass). However, I cannot type in the ME3 forum?! When I try to register ME3 for Xbox it says that no Online Pass found? This is the only origin/EA account I have. My Xbox is synced with the account just fine. Heck, even all of my promo content is showing up. This is frustrating.

Update:
I had to log out of this site. Launch the multiplayer component of ME3. Then log back into this site for the game to finally recognize my Online Pass and register my game successfully.

Same here....I'm on the PS3 and I can see my achievements, GAW etc but it does not recognise me having the game.

And I bought the CE as well, but it does not acknowledge it and I unable to claim the download for the soundtrack. Can someone help me out here?

So as someone new to Bioware franchises I am having the worst first impressions with this place,

I was excited for Mass Effect 3 and purchased keys online. Except they dont work because "this code has already been used".

No probelm. Ill post on the site. OH WAIT I CANT EVEN DO THAT. I need to register the game to post. But I cant register the game because the codes have been used.

What do you guys expect new customers to do?? EA live support was honestly the most useless customer support Ive ever experienced anywhere.

Right now I have paid for useless keys that dont work and no one at EA/Origin or Bioware has given me any indication that they give a stuff.

Worst first impression EVER.

Wait, so I cant post on the Mass Effect 3 forums because I have not bought Mass Effect 3? That is crazy.

Sad thing is, I was unable to buy ME3 at launch due to priorities and it not being available on Steam. Couldn't handle the suspense so watched the spoilers on youtube (/slapself) and now I am so glad I didint buy the game. Hate the endings.

But to post on the ME3 forum I have to buy the game? Crazy.

This is Bioware's place. They make rules here. You don't. There is one single ME3 forum for mere wannabe fans. The rest are for those willing to pay for the privilege.

You are spot on with the wannabe fan, only started playing last year, got both in a steam sale, total bargain and thoroughly enjoyed both, excellent games.

However judging by the spoilers and the reaction on the ME3 forums I am more than happy to be missing out on the so called "privilege" of posting there.

Anyway thanks for confirming why I do not meet the requirements. I shall more than happily join in on numerous QQ spreading like wildfire on all the other forums.

Enjoy bro.

Look at my avatar and then at yours.  I have three games attached.  You do not have ME3 properly linked to your avatar, the way that this thread calls for, over and over, throughout, if anyone ever actually took their blindfolds off to read what's in here.

it prevents pirates from accessing the forums, since they dont have a code to register.

That's retarded.
How will that stop pirating?
And that sucks for me since I borrowed game from friend of mine.

P.S.
Also when I said borrowed I didn't ment pirated, I seriously borrowed original copy.

my friend and me bought the game by sharing the sharing the price. now it sucks that i can't post the in forums of  M.E 3

Posting here to see if I can post elsewhere afterwards...

EDIT: Ah, I was trying to post in the thread "Minos Wasteland/Aequitas bug", but as that is in the PC section I'm guessing I can't post there as a lowly 360 owner.
lol

AFAIK, a game registration of any kind in your Profile is exactly the same, so you should be able to post in both Xbox and PC forums that are restricted to game owners. I haven't chosen to purchase any version of ME-3, but it is my understanding that getting the profile properly linked everywhere includes extra hoops to jump through compared to prior games.

For instance, you must subscribe to your console system's official network, if you want to qualify for forum access.  WHY?  Hey, this is Bioware.  You want logical answers?  Fat Chance!

Over and over and then over again, thoughout this long thread, the facts are repeatedly provided.  Until your user profile is linked to your game, the forums requiring game ownership are closed to you, and you haven't followed up in that regard at this date.

I've registered a lot of EA games on my Xbox including Mass Effect 3, yet I don't meet the requirements to post in the forums. Also, I really want to change my profile name... serisously BlairButt?

That kind of information REALLY needs to be included in the FAQ, given the whole origin thing forced us already to link this stuff... and we're only confirming it here.

Oh, wait, just synced my thing up and it offered me to be able to download the soundtrack (because it knows I own the collector's edition)... And I still can't post in the ME3 forum.

Huh, nope, that didn't do it...
And yet it's offering me the chance to download the OST because it knows I have the collectors' edition. Screw this, I'll just do my complaining on twitter and Facebook if it's this hard (and maddeningly inconsistent).

I'm getting this too on the Mass Effect 3 technical support forums. I was going to add to the "Bug Report - Shepard reset to Level 1" thread. But, looks like the forums are just as messed up as the game. Seriously, bioware, this is unacceptable.
