Bioware oversight here isn't guaranteed, you know. It's entirely likely none of their people will read your comment at all. These forums are basically for a gamer to be able to contact another gamer and for them to interact with one another. Official support will always be on EA's Help Site.

Looking at your Avatar, comparing it to mine, I have three games registered. You have none. I only use PCs; I don't want any kind of console system. I don't want an Xbox of any kind, or Microsoft "Live" of any kind.

Your Avatar and the Icon below it tell me that you can post messages in any of the ME-2 forums, and no other Bioware game.  My Avatar and Icons tell you I can post in any DAO, DA2, or ME-2 forum.

Personally, I don't think that the forums have ever had any kind of user tutorial, other than this one:

http://social.biowar.../9/index/994591

I never needed that. I just wandered through what was here, tried things, and reached a satisfactory accomodation with what I considered an amateur job of creating the web site (and IMO, never improved substantially). I added game registrations without any effort, and just have never understood why so many are unwilling to do what I did.

I am having the same issue, and it is especially confusing given that I'm only trying to post in forums that specifically state that all social site members can post in them. This is currently the only part of the forum I am able to access at all.

Send a PM to Jesse.Reid -- he's been actively checking these complaints lately.

TTBOMK, that last comment of mine, just above, is still a valid one.

I have logged in using my Origin account which is connected to my XBOX, and subsequently my ME3, yet the website says I have logged on with another email that isn't the original one or something? I only have one email anyway, so I don't quite get whats happening here. Any help?

This page should show your Origin ID, Xbox/PSN gamertags as well as the email associated with it. Check that this information is correct. At least you don't appear to have a ME3 registration icon.

Only my Origin account is listed there.
I have looked around the help pages, but to me they seem so cryptic.
I just want to post on the forums. :/

You can connect your gamertag to your Origin account in-game. I don't have ME3 myself but in most games press Y in the main menu.

Regardless, you can register your game(s) here. This will allow you to post in the respective forums.

Funny that. I did try to press Y to see my account and such, but that prompt wasn't on the main menu at all.

I went to that link, clicked to register Xbox ME3, and it said;
"Your ownership of Mass Effect 3 was not detected. You are most likely logged in to the BioWare Social Network with a different account than the one you are using to play Mass Effect 3. Go to Your Registered Game Content page for more troubleshooting instructions."

Nevermind. I fished out an old e-mail I used years ago, and apparently I must of used it to sign up on one of the earlier Mass Effects, so theres an account on that e-mail that works. Sorry for not realizing it sooner, but thanks for helping me.

For official help, click on the link to "Bioware Game Support" at the bottom of any page here.  Then, you want to contact a "Game Advisor", and the best contact method is via the "Chatline".

How do I register a used copy that I got from gamestop. I purchased legally. Spent over a hundred on the mass effect series but still cannot post for any ME stuff. Where do I find these codes if I bought it used legally from a store? Or am I just stuck not being able to post in a forum despite using a totally legal process to purchase the game?

It is up to Gamestop to supply the required registration code. If they do not do so, your problem lies with Gamestop.

I cannot register my X360 copy of Mass Effect 3 because I do not have a home broadband connection and so cannot connect my X360 to Xbox live. Is there any point in contacting an EA game advisor or is Bioware being misleading by suggesting I should?

Who are you asking? Jeff and Jesse are NEVER, not ever, in here on weekends, and their appearances the rest of the week, when they do show up occasionally, is on no schedule. There's just gamers reading the traffic today. Personally, I've never had a moment's worth of interest in owning any company's gaming console system.

I'm only around on weekends (and holidays) while visiting my parents which limits the times I can post.
(This is the reason I can post here despite having no broadband conection at home)

I would be happy with a clear answer from anyone
While I would prefer a response from someone at Bioware they seem unusually unwilling to talk about this (maybe they are under instructions as to what to say or maybe they are afraid of saying the wrong thing so say nothing or virtually nothing).
