It's not the highest number, no.
I don't know what the practical cap is, as far as benefits go, but the theory is that there is one.
Nope, because I have both Willpower and Cunning at 55. There are rumours that Kjubaran has 108 Cunning.
My bet is that nobody knows for sure whether there is a cap or not.
I read somewhere that the max resists can go up to is 80% so 160 (Cun/Con/Wil) would be the max benefit for resists (Range/Melee/Magic). At a guess the other benefits will not have a max, I will test it in a year or two when I have promoted a few more toons.

I don’t know how much Willpower he has,but I know that has around 110 Cunning and laughs archers in the face.

There are rumor/fact that resistances are caped at 80%. I tried cold resistance tonic vs despair demon and it doesnt do much so maybe its true...homewer spirit resistance tonic still does HUGE difference agains DC...
I wish i would have 10% ranged def belt, then i would reach over 80% rnd def and could tell it. Now I m about 70% rng def with +8% rnd def armors i have on most of classes i play and 3-4 archers is bearable for a moment ... still they are on TOP my priority list..
About maximum atack/critchance i dunno, I hope its more than 80...

I have over 90 willpower, so that is not true. There may be some kind of soft-cap or diminishing return though after a certain point. For example you may get less than 0.5 % attack after a certain point but I haven't bothered testing it.
For example my longshot from archer in multiplayer was hitting for roughly the same as a person with only 25 willpower when we were both using gryphon bow with the same rings and talents. Longshot damage should be vastly different from someone with over 90 willpower compared to only someone with 25, however it isn't.
So either there is a diminishing return in place for willpower, or there is a cap on how much attack % you can have on your character that actually effects skills, in which case its somewhere around 50 or 60%. Either that or longshot and/or gryphon bow itself is bugged and isn't adding the % attack from your promotions and is only using the attack % from the bow itself for calculating the damage of actual abilities. It seemed like my basic attack was hitting harder than him, but not abilities.
The odd thing here is that I tested other bows such as cruel redemption upgraded to have 39% crit bonus damage, and punched by the maker as well but they both did less damage than gryphon. If there is a cap on attack, then I can't explain this, because if there was a cap on attack % for basic damage or for certain abilities, I would be hitting harder with either cruel redemption or punched by the maker over gryphon bow, but I don't. Thus I have no effing idea how this game works even after playing it for 400 hours in multiplayer.
This game is a buggy pile of crap. That's what this has taught me. I've realized it isn't worth my time to continue worrying about this kind of stuff anymore in a game as broken as this. I suggest others do the same before wasting any huge amount of time on a game this buggy.
I know that attack % is added into the weapons actual damage number. Then that number gets modified by whatever % the ability in question increases it by. However that doesn't explain why a person with 25 willpower is doing the same longshot damage as I am with 90 when we're both using the same gear.

Technically, 160. Some attribute bonuses only apply for every point above 10.

Even playing single player makes me sad sometimes. They have all these interlinked stats/abilities/passives and then you find something that just doesn't work, making potential combos worthless.
Also, thanks for doing the research. I've been putting most of my time into Cunning to try and maximise crits and minimise being pincushioned. Stat management would be a lot easier with an attributes page.

One promotion per day is all I can handle. Gear is the main thing (good judgment helps). Promotions are a just a bonus that you can stack to the heavens to overthrow the Maker himself, that's all.
Lots of promotions sure make a difference, but so does gear. And so does not getting shot in the face a lot.
I have simply come to terms that I will never max out anything - of the three characters I enjoy playing, two (Hunter & Alchemist) are rogues. I can't bring myself to play just for promotions, and even though I play at least 2-3 matches most evening since release; I just don't play efficiently enough for that.
On the other hand, it would be unfair if people going crazy (saying with both envy & love) about it would not get some reward for their dedication.
