Quests:

Since the 1st Dragon Age its sad that none have changed anything about that.

That you see the marker of the Questgoal on the map takes the fun.The fun in Playing and the fun in discovering!

Witcher 3 has announced to make it different!

Bioware: Why didnt you work on it that Questing is more interesting, and not only a running from point A to B?

  1. Dont show the exact point of the goal everytime!
  2. Better make a colour-marked area on the map similiar like the search circles.
  3. Make more options how you can solve Quests.
  4. Build in more Quests where the player has to use his brain.
  5. Integrate Quest-items where the player should figure out himself where they can used to.
  6. Players should have the option to try out different things by himself.
  7. You also can combine point 1 to 6.

Story:

ME 2 is a good example for consequences.

Why dont you make consequences like that?

  • If you have a weak army, someone (of your group or other people in the world) or yourself could die or something could be destroyed like in DA Awakening.
  • On the other side if you make a member Quest (If you find a special magic spell or something like that) it could end in that someone can be saved.
  • If you decide an enemys fate it can result in that it can help you, or that bad things can happen.
  • Sometimes their are different ways to save and sometimes only one...
  • In Dragon Age Origins YOU said who should be king and things like that. In DAI its more complex. Thats good that you can decide not everything by yourself alone.
  • So there should be different endings for the story, and if you do optional things that there are added other extra sequences (not only text) where you can see how the world was left because of you. Is everything destroyed or not, are the people well or did they suffer...Did you get a statue that honors you or what is about the life of people which are alive because of you...instead of textbased use videosequences.

You also can make a straight storyline like in the end of DAI which you have to go throw multiple linear levels which are like going to a mission. (which requires an amount of might or like ME3 in the last battle)

Beside you have the open world to strengthen you and make optional things.
