Now that it is confirmed they are woring on dlc for inquisition, how long do you think we will have to wait for it? What are you hoping for in the dlc? Also, do you think that the dlc will take place after the main story or in the middle of it?

 

Personally, I would love it if the DLC was after the main story. For me, When Mass effect 3's citadel dlc came around, it was just weired to have an epic boss battle against clone shepard and the come the the final battle with a marauder enemy as the last guy we get to battle. Now, i didnt beat the game yet but I have been hearing things about the final battle against coryheus not being satisfying. If this is true, i hope the dlc will make up for it.

 

As for content, I have this wild idea of becoming a dragon for the last dlc for inquisition and battle another one. Since flemeth was able to do this, others should be able to turn into one. Just get the inquisitor to touch some magical object that can turn him/her into a dragon. Part of me however, says this may be very stupid......

They've released story DLC for every single game they've ever made. I'm 100% confident we're getting it. But feel free to dig around for a source, if you want.

Well when it does happen, I hope it is a 5+ hour mission/quest like ME Omega or Citadel and nothing like Return to Ostagar.

I also would prefer it to take place during the main plot and not after. The main story already feels short as it is.

A full out 12+ hour expansion pack like Awakening would be nice but we all know that wont happen.

I think that's premature, actually. We had one for DAO, and one was planned (but scrapped) for DA2. Maybe they're actually running with this whole "return for form" thing and we'll get a proper expac.

 

There's reason for guarded optimism in this case, I feel. But we're definitely getting story DLC of some sort.

The actual DLC is about how a terrorist extremist group called; the 'Inquisition' has taken over a large chunk of both Orlais and Ferelden and committed acts of war against Grey Wardens, Templars, and Redcliff. The group has captured large areas, taken over castles, and major cities. Inquisition Says It's Superior or ISIS has a military as formidable as any nation in southern Thedas. They are led by a radical religious leader calling herself; The Herald of Andraste.

A league of Nations will convene in Minrathous to seek aid from Tevinter in dealing with these radicals and their self proclaimed jihad.

Or maybe we will just have bunnies

Personally, my hope is for an addendum to the main plot which has an attack on Skyhold that you use your power points to upgrade your defenses. That would address a lot of concerns about the game, and also work well from a thematic point of view. Where you've built up your Inquisition to the point where you can avoid a situation like Haven happening again.

I had a thought of something that I think people would like, but it's not a story DLC.  Have it where we could capture the friendly creatures to raise in Skyhold to help supply it. There'd be a ranch in a part of skyhold, and nugs, fennecs, rams, those fat things I just found for the first time that drop nug hides.  The idea being that they are a steady supply of food/leather to skyhold.  They'd also always respawn there if you killed them.

Did some digging into the main story and spoiled a little if it for myself. It feels like they didnt finish the main story considering what happened with solas. This happened with the original trilogy with star wars, i believe lucas story fir it was so long that it had to be separated into parts. Same thing with inquisition?

With the closed Beta introducing the Black Emporium--which is in Kirkwall unless it moved or there is a second store mysteriously close to Skyhold--makes me wonder with a potential setting in the Free Marches.  Also, the ending left some rather interesting open-ended situations that could easily be covered by DLC, though creating those would be a headache in itself depending on choices.  With the last couple of games, they released two-four single player DLCs, and since they're going to PAX in early March, we might hear more news if we are lucky.

I think it could move, also they could do the whole it's actually another time/dimension and it just appears below whatever location the guy (forgot his name) wants it to be at.
