I get that. My last boyfriend, the one I lasted two years with, he was so damn manly and he never talked about his emotions so whenever he was upset he would expect me to mindread him but that would make everything worse. He would go to the gym and punch a boxing bag and deal with it like that instead, it was not healthy. I never knew how to act towards him, it only hurt our relationship.

You dont have to be all emotional and "sissy" like but just talk a little out. You have to think about it like this: You often get annoyed when a woman say "I'm fine" when she's not and when she doesn't tell you what's up, well it's the same deal for women, we just wanna know what's wrong so that we can help.
