So I recently purchased a PS4, and I was wondering if any of you have some game recommendations. So far I've tried Inquisition, GTA V, and Last of Us Remastered. Got to say, been pretty underwhelmed by most of these titles. The only one which I managed to complete was Inquisition.

Wolfenstein: The New Order

Fifa 14: Best soccer game ever. Note: Play on Semi-pro difficulty for the first month.

Not yet a very good racing game for PS4.

+ upcoming Mortal Kombat, One Piece and Dragon Ball games. They're future products, but I bet they won't be disappointing.

Really?

Last of us is only 12-14 hours or so. It's at least worth finishing.

Other than that.

I've had the thing for a year now and the only reason was for MGSV and Kingdom Hearts 3.

1/3 of that has been fufilled so...

...

Outlast is pretty good...So is Strider...

Yeah a year and it's hard to think of any current exclusives. The Order can go lick a boot. It always looked horrible.

Bloodbourne comes out next month, so that's something.

If you think DA:I, GTA V, and the Last of Us are underwhelming, there is nothing else that I can recommend you.

I've been enjoying Dead or Alive 5 the Last Round, but that's most likely not a game for you either.

I don't know what Console gaming is about and what OP actually wants...

Back in 90s I suppose gamers weren't playing many RPGs (Just FF and a few other titles?). Consoles were for plain fun unrestricted by forced login, DRM and other crap.

I suggest having a look at inFAMOUS second son. I wouldn't recommend it though. I feel like it sucked in comparison with its predecessors.

Also is Wolfenstine similar to the FPS of back in the day of weapon wheels, lots a guns and non-linearity?

Dead or Alive is a game for everyone. Has a really good plot.

Indeed. I was pleasantly surprised with it. As far as a good racing game, I'd highly recommend DriveClub. It caught a lot of criticism early on because of server issues but it's evolved into a really fun arcade racing game.

Infamous SS is really fun too and can be found for cheap these days. Resogun is a blast with a friend. I'll only list exclusives since I'm not sure what you are looking at multi platform wise.

If Grid 2 was on PS4 I would recommend it. It's much better than all these pretender racing games!

If you want a proper racing game for your PS4, just wait for Project CARS.

If you want a proper racing game for your PS4, just wait for Project CARS.

I'm sad that it got delayed to April 2nd (or 7th if you're American).

You might try Samurai Warriors 4 if you like beat-em up games, you can slaughter hundreds of enemies in a single battle.

You could also wait for Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires to come out on February 24th (I actually bought a PS3 just to play Dynasty Warriors 7: Empires and Dynasty Warriors Gundam: Reborn). It has strategy in that you can choose which territories to invade (if you choose to play as a ruler) and becomes a beat-em up where you can slaughter a couple thousand enemies on the battlefield. Both games have a character creator too. A potential drawback to both Samurai Warriors 4 and Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires is that they are English Subtitled.

I was under the impression that SW 4 was only on one of the Wii's?

inFamous Second Son -- Not even remotely as good as the first 2 games but it is still above most recent gen titles and it's still fun -- Give that one a whirl, otherwise I feel there aren't remotely many fun game games recently outside of Nintendo.

It looks nice, but 30fps in a racing game, to me, is not acceptable. IMO, racing games and shooters should always be 60fps. Gameplay>Graphics. And really, when you look at Destiny, which runs at 30fps, and compare it to Battlefield 4 and Wolfenstein, which both run at twice the frame rate and manage to look just as good, or even better in the case of BF4, there's really no excuse.

Anyway, my recommendation is this game... because it's the closest thing we have to a WWII game these days and it's actually pretty good.

Shadow of mordor, Wolfenstein the new order, Far cry 4, Infamous second son. I suppose there is also AC unity but I don't know if that works yet.
