Never? I don't think anybody is actually working on a Remaster.

really? damn  I remember someone from Bioware asked what we would like in the ME:Remaster so I figured they were going to release it for the next-gen.

Aaryn Flynn asking this question on NeoGAF a few month ago is a clear sign that they are not working on it. Companies usually don't talk about unannounced projects.

Although they haven't announced anything regarding a remastered trilogy, I personally believe they will release the trilogy on the next gen consoles it's just a matter of when they announce it.

There's a long way between launching a project and announcing a release date. It isn't even know if the project is underway or not at this day.

From what I hear the responses from when they asked about it were overall possitive. That tells me first off they weren't sure it would be popular and second that since the reaction was so positive it was a profitable idea and no company ever just ignores a profitable idea.

I've posted before about the reaction to his comments, it was overwhelmingly positive the Bungie forum had a huge thread on it with a crapton of people saying they'd get it so long as DLC was included. My xbox broke and i don't want to have to buy another one now that i've upgraded to PS4 so I'm really hoping they come through on this.

That's from year ago, around N7 day in November Aaryn was polling people on GAF what would they want to see in Remaster, EA would be just passing on free money if they didn't do it

I think they will do it for the consoles at least but the real question is how much are they going to change, will it be like ME trilogy boxset where they are pretty much in their original state or is it going to be a remaster as well as a remake of sorts? Iron out the inconsistencies, integrate the combat systems, transfer the previous games to the ME3 game engine? 

Basically will it be another release of the same old stuff again or will it actually be an improved product for the new gen?

I think it'll happen. Whether its 2015 or 2016 (or even 2017) is a whole other matter...

 

I don't think they will change a whole lot (sadly), but I hope they do what they can to make the textures better, transition between games smoother, etc.

If they are ever going to make ME trilogy remastered to new consoles than its going to be either end of this year or 2016, by 2017 they are supposed to have the next ME game. After all 5 years of development time seems to be enough.

Remaster have yet to be even officially confirmed to be developed.
