Leliana and Morrigan have amazing story arcs, so they're probably my overall favorite.

I also really like Isabela and Aveline. I know a lot of people thought Aveline was boring, but she was solid as hell, and I thought really helped hold together DA2 as a game and story.

Wynne gets a bad rap, but I thought she was a lovely character and mentor, especially to mage wardens. She's basically a selfless grandmother type, with a crapton of power.

Also Flemeth. She's one of the most intriguing characters in a video game period.

My favourites are:

1. Leliana

2. Morrigan

3. Alistair

4. Varric

5. Cassandra

Leliana and Morrigan are easily my favourites I loved how much they developed (especially as a romance for my two Wardens) in these ten years

Alistair was my Warden's bro in Origins but I was disappointed with his lack of screentime in Inquisition (as king)

Varric was the best part about DA2 but I still feel that he wasn't needed in Inquisition, he was Hawke's best friend

Cassandra was a surprisingly good character (annoyed me in DA2) and the best companion and LI in DA:I

The worst would be:

1. Sera (worst companion in a Bioware game ever...yes even worse than Jacob he was "only" boring and I could kill him off

2. Anders

3. Merril

4. Velanna

thats about it the rest I liked (Sten, Shale, Isabella, Bethany etc.) or didn't care for (Zevran, Iron Bull, Vivienne, Blackwall etc.)

Sera ended up growing on me especially after romancing her with my rogue playthrough.

I agree about Varric. Before DAI was released I thought it made sense he was there and thought he'd be a great addition, but all in all I felt he was a little forced. I still think he's great to listen to, and I mostly bring him along... but it still doesn't make that much sense to me that he was asked to retell the whole story to the Divine at the conclave. At the end of DA2, Cassandra let him go / left, and he basically says good luck / peace out. And she knows the major points, so she could easily just restate them. I guess I'm not complaining he was there, but it seemed odd. Though not that much more odd than say Iron Bull, Cole, or Blackwall.

Favourites would depend on why. For personality it would be Zevran, Isabela, Cassandra, Cole.

For concept/story, it would be Loghain, Shale, Justice, Solas, Flemeth, Morrigan and Cole.

So maybe Cole?

For me, that would be Fenris.  He had it all... a sense of style, a grim demeanor, and an excellent skillset.  On top of all that, he had an interesting personal quest and history.  He's hands down my favorite character in the series.

Hard to say, let's try

most loved:

-DA:O - My warden

-DA:2 - varric

-DA:I - Cassandra

overall: Cassandra, since the hero of ferelden doesn't really count

most hated:
-DA:O - Anders

-DA:2 - Anders

-DA:I - Hawke, the scenes with hawke just sucked for me, don't know why.

overall: ANDERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

honorable mention: Dog from DA:O, best mod was the one that allowed you to have him in your party without using a slot.

Originally, Leliana.

By the time I had played DA:O a few times, it had become Morrigan.

Sera sure contended for top spot when I played DA:I...

And I suppose Sarcastic Hawke is a contender.

Probably Morrigan, all told, though.

I have only played Inquisition, but Solas is a fantastic character — definitely my favorite. I wish there could have been more cutscenes and conversations with him because I really enjoyed his world-views; I loved how he never sees things as black or white, and how he believes so strongly in personal freedom and individual thought. He was so intriguing to me and I loved his voice — kudos to the voice actor!

I also really liked Cole, Cassandra, and Iron Bull. This game really has great characters.

I want to say Leliana but what they did to her in DA Inky ruined her for me.

I will probably go for Dagna she is by far my most favorite Character of Dragon Age.

28b77fc146d9ca79612539452e45df13.jpg

But another one that very much interested me was Bianca.

BiancaInquisition.png

I feel she was a hugely wasted asset of Inquisition, very interesting character more so than the actual companions and should have been a Romance option for Dwarves.

Very much annoyed me that she wasn't more in the game, i feel both of these deserved Romance for Dwarves.

Again, maybe you didn't pick a good face? Did you play the part where Varric gets most of the gang together in the Herald's Rest for Wicked Grace? The Inquiz had tons of great expressions and voice acting there.

That's cool about Hawke. I haven't played DA2 yet, but I picture the "real" Hawke as female too. I'm a guy though.

I am the god of faces. My Inquisitor face is just fine, or should I say my 33 faces (according to the keep). Girls look absolutely amazing. Also I know design enough to understand PERFECTLY the difference between the animation and the how each feature in the face is animated and my choices in character design.

That lifeless **** with EVERYBODY? Where everybody are tranquils? You picked the most alltranquil moment of the game!
Sorry but the day I play card with my friends and everybody is like having tea with the queen of england like that I kill myself.
Ohgren was more of a person in his most sober moment than all of the Inquisition drunk at the same time.

Game is sub-humanly too serious and epic even when it tries to be funny. EVEN THE ****** VARRIC BECAME RETARDED!

Dude was funny in DA2 and became just dumb and serious...

You and I have CLEARLY a very different take on how we behave when we are happy or sad and I would probably say it is because of cultural differences since europeans tend to be more "cold", so I would ask if you are one or something like that. BUT in Origins they presented people A LOT MORE LIKE me and my friends and how we interact so I'm guessing it is not cultural differences here, they just decided to tranquilize the characters. In real life I know a Oghren, I know a Morrigan, I know a Wynne and so on. The only human being in Inquisition is Sera. Sometimes Solas, he acts like a tranquil most of the time but when his mask falls he is very passionate and interesting.

Blackwall is his ****** warden crap. Cassandra is all about faith and ****. Cullen is dumb adict and all war and stuff. Dorian is all tevinter and gay. Bull is all BDSM and LGBT activist krem is my token. And so on... Sera is a person. She is childish, passionate, a deep person who avoids deep because she is scared. She does have, like everybody else, her ideals, but she is more often than not making fun of things to avoid the Tranquilsition. AMEN! I guess I wouldn't even have finished the game the first time if it wasn't for Sera. I could rename this game, easily, as Sera vs. The Tranquil Army.

Oh! Almost forgot! Leliana and Morrigan are still people, of course, they didn't come from Inquisition. And Josie is a person too, sometimes I forget to mention her since she is not a companion, but she absolutely acts like a human being when you procede with her quests. Cole fits this Tranquilsition, I see him as schizophrenic, he talks a lot like one (I had to deal with them back in college) and behaves like one too. Too bad Tranquilsition does not fit the others, it is just lifeless an boring.

Game is serious. They don't know how to make serious. They made everybody Tranquil.
