Hi folks,  after way too much googling trying to find some conversations about this I've thrown in the towel and decided to make my own thread for it.

To make a long story short,  I've gone into full geek mode with Dragon Age and after playing through Origins once and up to the start of act 3 in Dragon Age 2, I decided to start again from scratch and play 3 different world states through both games before I even buy Inquisition  (fully realising that my decisions may mean squat in Inquisition, it's more that I want to experience Thedas in different ways...like a world where Loghain is alive, a world where Alistair leads the Wardens, a world where Leliana went back to being a bad ass bard, one where 'hell no Morrigan I'm not trusting you with a baby' etc).

Anywho, I fleshed out 3 Origins wardens with different motives and back stories, and am now thinking up the same for my Hawkes when I came across a conundrum.

Which Origins saves would go through to which Dragon Age 2 playthroughs?

I wanted to ask more experienced players, are there are any significant match ups in the story that work well and you should aim for?

I think I want my female Dalish Elf origin to then go on to 2 with a Merrill romance as she's in that origin story and knew Mahariel, and that world state would be very Elven focused.

The only other choice I can think of is to have a mage origin go thru to a mage Hawke who's proud of her cousin's achievements in Ferelden and wants to emulate them in Kirkwall (till it all goes to **** lol).

Am I missing anything?  Is there a combo that's particularly rewarding?  I don't necessarily have to do that good guy origins world leading to a good guy hawke world, I could switch it up.

Obviously I'm overthinking this entire thing.  I know that.  Honest.  But I'm stuck at home with a long term illness and **** all else to do so here I am putting way too much thought in to a video game...and it's fun   :P

Thanks in advance
