I'd prefer DA4. I didn't find the Inquisitor an engaging protagonist, so I'd prefer they start with a clean slate in Northern Thedas.

DA:I feels unfinished to me. I won't get DA4 if they go in that direction, but I'm sure the reviews will give it GOTY and 10/10 whether its deserving of those accolades or not.

I don't love Origins anymore, Inquisition is so awful it made me regret playing DAO. That **** made me love and care for Thedas now I'm working deep to forget this world ever existed. DAO was satan tempting me, DAI was he backstabbing me for have trusted him. DAO was the joke. DAI was their true plan to destroy my life. So **** Origins, **** Thedas for making me play Inquisition.

But anyway, da2 was "incomplete" too, and they completed it in Inquisition with a new character and companions. If anything, da4 will consist of a new protag dealing with you-know-who or whoever, as well. Bioware said that there will be no expansion pack, but who knows, they could change their minds. I hope there isn't one. Dai was just all around bad, from the story to the lackluster cast. I just want to move on to, hopefully, better things.

DA:4, devs said we'd be heading north so I'd like a new character and story to suit this new locale. In the meantime (the several years we'd have to wait) some sort of expansion pack for DA:I would be welcomed

I would prefer a big expansion for DAI, and than DA4. But if there is no expansion for the Inquistor (I have an Elf apostate to bring back to Lavellan and finish the Affresco. I can't stand unfinished paintings.) than I would be more than happy for a spin-off like Brotherhood for AC2. Inquisition doesn't feel complete, starting with a new character without having a way to play more with the Inquistor would not feel good for me.

wrap up inquisitor story in dlc then on to DA4. inquisitor does not deserve special treatment. if warden and hawke story can end in dlc so can quizzy. and hawke did not get post game story yet his story with us was done. i am all 4 new hero new place new adventures new romance new problems in thedas and new game.

DA2 sucked badly and so does this game. They probably foresaw the dumbing-down that EA was enforcing upon their games and they just straight up left.

I'm done with bioware. I can't imagine how anyone would actually want another one of these terrible games at this point. The magic happened in origins, and it also died there. Let it die please. These people have no idea what they're doing that is very clear and EA is obviously in complete control.

I really dont want a new type of hero for the next DA game. We have started 3differents heroes and its annoying to start again from begin.

i want them to continue one of These stories. personally, id prefer to have the Hawk back. The Story about hawke was deffenitly the shortest one and i loved the hawke:') for the Hof its imo to much time passed. 10years we dont know what happends. and anyway, maybe the Hof died.

Or to have Inquisitor back would be really nice too:)

As most important i really hope, BW will take the time for the dev if they bring DA4 or DLC or whatever. not matter when it takes 6years:)

DAI isnt a fullfilled game but its on the right way to going to be it, what the future game could be.

I'd like to see DLC to flesh out DA:I before transitioning to DA:4. Patch 5 is a step in the right direction. For DA:4, I'd love to see them use the Frostbite engine again, especially with how much they invested in it. By using the same engine, perhaps they can focus on vision and execution by using the tools they are already familiar with. Maybe they can spend more time on delivering a solid RPG and less time learning/editing the engine.

What's Raoni? is it that constant winning white noise that you hear in almost every thread? I learned how to filter that out.

I'll personally go with Dragon age 4... Why? Cause I believe it'll introduce a new protagonist. I like the trend of new protagonist in DA. 

 

I know it maybe a long ways away.... Depending on how long they take with the new ME. But hey getting a head of ourselves hurts no one. 

 

Another question. How do you guys think the next installment will go, we all know what happened at end of DAi. And depending on choice, either the inquistior or morrigan will be enemies(or none xd).

 

All I think I know is, skyhold is going to be the first to fall. Then the new protagonist stars in, either at val rou-something( Orlais)or at denerim(ferelden). He or she will witness the fall of that place. As far as that all I can think of is we start in brand new area in thedas, tevinter, rivain, antiva, par vollen, or that sehera place, I know I misspelled it... Alot of it.  Or we start in one of those area's depending on choice. Start in orlais - tevinter or antiva... Start in ferelden - rivain or par vollen. It's possible?  I've yet to manage to think of a way the new protag will be the major guy or girl...

It's possible Skyhold could fall assuming the Inquisiton is still using it but I don't think the Inquision has to necessarily end before the next game begins. I see it continuing and influencing events in Freleden/Orlais while the next game takes place in another country.

I'm not big on continuing protags for DA so I'd prefer DA4.  That being said I would definitely want some continuation of the Solas/Mythal story to find out what happens next.

Id like to see the inquisition playing a large role in the next DA while still maintaining a new protag and cast overall. Also Varric as a companion because I cant get enough of that dwarf.

This right here.  It allows for the Inquisitor and Warden (and Hawke) to still be around but not have to be part of the story, while also introducing a new setting.
