Miranda's warp is quite useful

1.Kasumi. She calls you Shep. SHEP! Petite, smart, and Japanese, I would've taken her over Tali anyday. Plus she's friendly and has an funny, yet emotional loyalty mission.
2.Zaeed. The best Goddamn merc in the galaxy! Badass stories, badass scars, badass voice, and badass loyalty mission. plus, he has a hidden depth. Would've taken him over Garrus without a seconf thought.

Weird. Most people hate the DLC characters for their lack of dialouge wheel, but they're my two favorite poarty members.

gameplay wise? Any sniper and Miranda.....why? because at higher difficulties snipers = lots of damage and Miranda can strip defenses better than anyone else

Kasumi - Loved her loyality mission the most. She is by far alot more indepth character then I thought she would be, at first I was dissapointed at the fact that she lacked an diologue wheel, but the way they did the diologue with kasumi rather than Zaweed.... soooo much better. Plus she offers more interaction than any other crewmate. Once I had played enough with Kasumi, Tali dropped from my favgirl to #2 spot.



Legion - Legion reminds me of an 5 year old child asking "what this? and why?" the entire time. He also offers invaluable insight into things that lack emotion (sometimes, emotion gets in the way) and provides very simplistic answers to things. These two are my colleagues in arms most of the time.

I liked them all pretty much, but legion is effective in a fight and it/they are interesting. Miranda's effective against defenses, so she's good for the majority of the game, tali has almost useless abilities, but I use her anyway a lot of the time because she's awesome , and I'll admit zaeed is a surprisingly deep character who's morals and ruthlessness perk my interest. I would use garrus, but his character change from the first game kinda puts me off :l.



Characters not to use: Jacob - nice guy, still kinda boring (at least he doesn't b***h all day like carth or kaidan), grunt, who's just kinda one dimensional, but who can successfully be the krogan to follow a character as cool as wrex?

Grunt, Legion, and Mordin hands down. Those are my 3 fav. But I use everyone in different group mix ups all the time.

Garrus, Thane and Mordin were my favorites for missions, but Legion had the best dialogue. I don't get why they made him the last to recruit!

Best Gameplay:

Miranda
Garrus

Miranda is effective against pretty much everything, and improves your squad, while Garrus is also good against Synthetics, and you get Armor Piercing Ammo, probably the best ammo power.

Most fun:
Engie/Infiltrator Shep: Bonus power Dominate
Tali/Morinth
Legion/Morinth

You can essentially use Dominate and Hacking to make all enemies useless. Tali is recommended for Energy Drain, to take down shields. Getting the Incinerate power with your Shep helps with Armor.

Miranda and Grunt

Tali and Garrus. Just like old times... But not on insanity mode. For insanity its Miranda and Garrus/Anyone else with either overload or warp. But Tali and Garrus are my favorites.

Honorable mention goes to Legion though, just cause he's so awesome.

for many missions, Grunt is really useful, and he actually thinks that he is the best. sometimes, I see that he just goes forward to fight against enemies in collector ship. Mordin is funny, brilliant for his age (he is 50 year old). Legion is not funny but sometimes makes me smile. he can dance! I guess if Legion has more strong shield in battle field, he could be the similar level like what Grunt fights.



here is just for 2 cents. if you have 'dominate power', and bring legion or tali for mission which lots of organic and mech together will kill you soon, nobody can touch you and squad mates. it's just too strong. especially, if you are reach to the level 4 of dominate, you can do for multipul target 9 seconds (recharge 6 seconds). I never got 'dominate' before getting mod. it is awesome.

Miranda- Edgy, complicated, but not overly emotional like Jack or Tali and very smart. Not bad looking either ;-)

I can't really say from a strategy standpoint since I suck at shooters so heck if I payed attention to what my teammates are doing most of the time... >_> I hear Miranda is very good.
