If owners of the Inquisitor's Edition read the Origin client's note regarding the Registration code, they see the following:

 

"Register your Inquisitor's Edition of Dragon Age Inquisition with us by using this exclusive code. Be the first to get news, promotions and updates."

 

Shouldn't they be automatically participants for the Patch 5 Beta Program or what else is the promised benefit of being the among the first to get updates?

Being in a Beta is not having advanced access to ingame material, it's about testing it every which way you can and do reports. Then, when all the groundwork is done, you'll get advanced access to ingame material that do not mess with your game (hopefuly).

All they wanted was your email adress to spam you with advertisement to increase their chances for you to buy some more EA stuff. You don't get patches or whatever earlier, the highlighted statement is obviously only talking about marketing stuff.
