The PC version of the game is ridiculously bad, but I was hoping maybe this new patch would help.
Of course all the news I've read about it up until yesterday said there would be a sign up on the keep.
I've never seen any such sign up.
Today I check and it says the sign up is closed already.
All I've see on the keep site was a "beta feedback button" and a "beta feedback line on the left hand side bar"
Neither of which ever responded to any clicks.
Does the keep site not work with firefox? (it's such an unknown browser after all, it's not like many people use it)
Or was it open for just a few key hours when most players might be on? Maybe a few hours during US prime time like 3am PST to 3:05 AM PST?
Or what?
And what is the point of a closed beta and an NDA?
You have captive audience as it is unless there's a way to get a refund more than 24 hours after paying for the game on origin.
If there is a way to get a refund please tell me. I haven't finished the game and I don't think I will at this rate.
And it's not like many people expect anything trully innovative in the way of PC gaming interface improvements at this point, so there isn't a competitive reason for an NDA.

At least an open beta might give the people that feel screwed some vague feelting that biowar-ea is actually trying, a little at least, now that they have people's money with no option of refund
