Perth is in Australia.
What about the MRA movement?
There are about 5 people in Perth. The teacher, the student, his parents, a police officer and a judge.

Ah, I see you have two more kids.

Legally people under a certain age cannot give consent as the law considers them not developed enough mentally to make that sort of judgement. In the same way you can't enter a contract with a minor.

This.
This, in a nutshell, is my point. With consent, the boy is likely to regard this a triumph and always will. The girl may consider it a positive at first, but eventually she will justifiably come to the conclusion that she was taken advantage of.
Without consent, either way it is rape.
ooooh half a point you picked it up at the end.
There have been a load of Lesbian relations between teacher and student.
and one where the teacher blaimed the 13 yearold boy.
i beleve it was the judge who was quoted as saying he had never heard so mutch victim blaiming.
The "too young to consent" thing is used weirdly where im from, i remember a 13 year old boy getting a 17-18 year old girl pregnant & nothing happened, were no charges for her having sex with a underage boy who was bearly a teen, but if it had been a 17-18 year old boy getting a 13 year old girl pregnant he would be in prison for rape
Look at that girl Lena duncan i think her name was.

What about her?
What's so special about her?
An English teacher was arrested for a DUI and a hit n' run in my senior year.
She's still teaching.
I love tenure.

All fun and games until we start putting in a pecking order.
And with my luck I would be at the bottom of it.

Just don't drop the soap & you'd probably be fine ![]()
I remember that, im pretty sure her girlfriend was 14 tho & they had a happy relationship until her girlfriends parents waited for her to turn 17 so they could get the police on her cos they apparently blamed her for "turning" their daughter gay
I do not understand that. Why did they wait till she turned 17? isn't 14 underage? What's the difference?

I think that 17 year old shouldn't be charged. There was a relationship between them prior to her turning 17 and depending how long the relationship has been going on for (at least a year) it should be considered as extenuating circumstances.
But the 14 year old's parents are morons who don't care about how their child felt. Petty ****** assholes, they shouldn't even have a child. Selfish f******.
Pfft. If I had proper education and training I would conquer the world at age 17! I mean athletics, logic, politics, economy, ethics and pragmatics...
There is no difference between 17 and 18.
Note: Thanks to my retard education I didn't achieve much until age 24.
I was a teacher for several years in NYC public schools, so I have a bunch of thoughts on this story. First, I think it's crazy that this teacher didn't go to jail for this. I'm assuming that she lost her job, but she had sex with someone who legally can't consent. It's crazy that she got away with that. I do tend to think that a male teacher would never get that same luxury.
Here's an anecdote from my teaching years that shows how petrified I was about this entire situation:
I worked in a high school, so my students were between 14 and 18 mostly. I ran a science research program where I placed some of my top science students in researcher labs across the city and they would go there during the school day and earn science elective credit for their work there. Because I had to send them around the city while they were doing school work, I gave them my cell phone number to text me if they needed anything. It was worked out through the school ahead of time and, since it was really only a handful of my top (re: nerdy) kids, I felt comfortable with them having the number (fully aware that I might very well need to change my number if one of them made it public). Well, two years into the program, I had an openly gay student (I'm an openly gay teacher, so it's relevant) in the program. One night, I get a filthy sex-laden text message from him and I about **** my pants. In one second, I imagined that this was going to be the end of my career despite my never seeing this kid once outside of school and having a completely professional relationship with him. I just assumed that an investigation would happen and my name and salary would get plastered across NYC newspapers (this happened to another teacher at my school when a student accused him of groping her after class, so I'd already seen the effects first hand; he was put on 'leave' until it was settled and his reputation was ruined forever, despite eventually being cleared of charges). I immediately texted back, "Don't ever text me again and we will be discussing this with the principal in the morning!" Then I texted the assistant principal, who was a good friend of mine, to let him know. The next day, we had a huge meeting about it and it turns out that the kid's phone had been stolen by his ex-boyfriend who was texting those messages to all of the adults in his life to try to get him in trouble. There was a police report filed about it already, so we knew it was legit. It all ended up okay (despite both the student and me being very uncomfortable around each other for the rest of the semester), but it just goes to show how quickly this **** blows up. And the fact that I was so worried about it when I did absolutely nothing wrong, yet this lady can have sex with a kid and not go to jail? Just boggles my mind.
I'm pretty sure that a male teacher would have ended up in jail.
Of course.
*SNIP*
Agreed. look at the Music teacher on trial now.
a male teacher even accused.. hell any man even accused his life is over.
and the radfems who push for the Listen and Beleve thing spout that.. " meh the guy will be fine who cares if a few inocent guys go to jail. as long as the fear is instilled in all men."
quick question. what 3 crimes do you NOT want to be in jail for?
2nd question who told you Rape was ok?
Sod it ill answer
1 anything to do whith women kids or the elderly.
2 NO ONE.
It's even reported differently in the press. If a female teacher sleeps with a student, the headline reads something like "Teacher Seduces Student." whereas if the teacher is male it will be any variation of "Teacher takes advantage of/abuses/molests female student."
Notice the differences?
